I just received 21 panels to go with the 10 I already have and that will be it because those are all I can fit on my property.
I have 1600 AH of battery so my next purchase will be a Victron 48-5000 and a Victron 450-200.
I will also get a cerbo gx so I can monitor the system.
Hoping for a...
Yes, you are right.
They work great for hot spot cell connections.
I had a customer in Bristol Ok. who was 7 miles from the nearest tower and his down load speed was from 1 to 4 MBS so basically the internet was useless.
After install, his new booster his speed increased from that to 20 to 30...
I was a cell phone booster installer for about 15 years here in Oklahoma for 4 national company's.
If installed correctly they can really increase your speed.
The best units are the Wilson brand out of Idaho or Utah.

I didn't think it would matter as long as the voltage reading on the unit was correct but it does bother me a bit. I have a shunt coming but wanted to be able to set he inverter to 100%.
Going to sell it as soon as I upgrade so I guess I can live with it.
Thanks for the reply.

My problem with this the inverter is the battery monitor built into the inverter reads 20% and has done so since the first turn on.
The inverter reads the correct battery voltage on the display.
I have read the manual and could not find out how to reset the battery percent of charge back to...
Thanks for the reply.
I was between Midnight solar and Victron.
I printed out your answer as I can now research what you recommended.

I was just using 100 AH as an poor example.
I have 6 200 AH agm's and 4 Lipo's and not near the money that I would have in the same AH rack mount's.
I guess I am just cheap but build in my system with the shut offs and the 4 lipo's I bought have bms built in.
One thing I can say is the rack...
In my pea brain I don't see a reason to buy a 1100 dollar 100 AH rack mount battery over a stand alone 100 AH battery.
Other then being able to stack the battery's and a nice rack what am I missing?

Hail doesn't all ways fall straight down.
I have seen it blowing sideways in some of the storms we have had in the past. When the wind is over 70mph not much can survive the bigger stones.
