Hello Folks !
I got a great deals on used ~170 panels @ $20 each, but it seems to have a non standard connector
someone said maybe euro mc-4's ? , iv run low on the jumpers that came with them and don't want to keep splicing them
as that is not to 'code' even with my small scale project so far just a 48volt system to the SCC.
here is a pic if anyone knows someplace i could order more connectors and a crimper that would be great,
thanks for looking.

shown are the ones that fit the panels , id rather not re engineer the little black diode and string connection box on the back of these panels...
with new frame mount standard mc'4 that would be even more connectors to buy. and tiny area to resolder...
if the panels had wire hanging out with connectors then cut and put standard mc4 would be great, but not like that here. ;(

No, just cut the ends off and re-head them. No need to touch the diode box.

Or do you mean there are no wires out of the back to re-head?

A spec sheet for those panels mentions the connection type is "MC type 3". Does that help? [edit] I guess not as they look nothing like the connectors you've shown.

Those are Tyco Solarloc connectors. I've worked with them before. Depending on your situation and how many you need you might be better off switching out to MC-4's.
