Connecting Jackery 500 to solar panel with anderson connections- bought adapter. Does polarity matter?

I bought an adapter cable off of amazon so I could connect my Jackery 500 to the anderson connections on my Rich Solar panel (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DK9N2S8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I assumed I could just color match the anderson connectors on the solar panel with the ones on the adapter, but after reading all kinds of threads about polarity, I am left a bit confused. Do I need to check the polarity and match it myself and stop assuming? Does polarity on this type of adapter even matter?
I have not used the solar panel yet. I am waiting to verify this polarity issue...if there is an issue...so I do not destroy my Jackery or anything else. Any and all advice is appreciated.

What is the easiest/best way to check it?
If you are doing any kind of electrical, solar or battery work, your most basic tool is a volt meter.
There are quite a few varieties, some cheap and effective. Some expensive and very precise.

I like this for cheap and cheerful, probably my most used digital meter:

Thank you. I will take your advice and get a meter. I appreciate your help.
