Has anyone ordered from "liitokala Official Store" in the US? If so, what was the shipping time?

I ordered qty4 100AH cells 6 weeks ago and was curious how much longer I might have to wait.

Thank you

I ordered 4 280 amp hr Eve cells from liitokala on Amazon from wills suggested list on feb 15th 2021. On April 6 after I emailed littokala 4 times over the course of 6 weeks (to get an updated tracking number bec the one he provided was fake) and no answer he FINALLY emails me back on week 7 of waiting saying he wants to cancel the order bec the flight they were on got canceled.
I had a horrible experience with him with the complete lack of communication and now after 2 months and a bunch of inverters bms and parts sitting I have no batteries. Not even my money back yet. I would really demand some action from him immediately

Got mine just a few days shy of two months back in February, but things are worse now. The backups to unload at the Port of Los Angeles are insane.

AVOID THEM...(sadly this is to late for you)
I ordered several 280AH cells, got a mix of bad cells(one had very low capacity), some a bit "puffy"...
When you complain they will offer you $20 (not per cell, that was $20 for an order over $800) unless you care to ship the batteries back at your expense which is near impossible for anyone to do.

Good luck with your order, it may work out.
the shipping time will pretty much be the maximum time listed (which was something like 3months).

I just received them just shy of two months I think. I'll check them out this weekend, hopefully they are all good cells.

I ordered 4x 280Ah cells back on February 25th and have nothing yet. Sounds like SNAFU for this vendor, hope they shipped it. I'm sure USAA will be great about giving me my money back. Why in the world are we not making these things over here? We need to bring this type of production back here. Even the Battleborns are made with Chinese cells, sadly.

Credit card companies are pretty good about dealing with Alibaba and Aliexpress. Even if using PayPal, always select a credit card (debit cards have less legally required protection). Most banks that issue debit cards will voluntarily provide protection equal to a credit card, but are not legally required to. Never use a bank account linked in PayPal, pretty much everything protection wise is voluntary there. Obviously different when dealing with a local vendor, should not be a problem using a bank account linked PayPal there.

Why in the world are we not making these things over here?
Because we are promoting the progress of science and useful arts by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries.

My batteries are famous!

Also, if anything... You should recycle them, not throw them away...

Mine were not flat as well. Top balancing/charging right now. Ill report back if I notice a change in shape after :) .

Well crap. I hadn't seen this thread and ordered from the LiitoKala official store on AliExpress because they promised 5-8 day shipping from their US distribution point in California. They issued a US FedEx tracking number, then that got cancelled and they've re-issued a new tracking number which looks like a China/international shipper (and which doesn't show up in any system I can find).

I've reached out to the seller several times but received ZERO response. Sucks because while I can dispute via Paypal I was planning to build this battery bank in June and use it for a trip in July, but now it seems unlikely this will arrive in time.

I don't think there is a Liitokala store in the US. My order seems to have hit FedEx today after exactly 60 days from order.

They changed their page, but last week it had a "Ships From" option of either China or United States. I chose US.

My *assumption* (which is probably wrong) was that they ship a pallet of these to the US and either (a) put them in a warehouse to resell or (b) they don't have the final shipper pick them up until they have a US sale and then they redirect them to your destination. In hindsight I think it's actually just a way they manipulate the price, nothing more.

In fairness they store finally emailed me back last night and said "we sent it by air" and then updated the tracking number to a different FedEx number. So we'll see if it arrives within a reasonable window - I'm pretty sure there's no chance it'll be here by "May 24" as AliExpress showed when I purchased, but if it arrives by June 1 I should still have sufficient time to build and test before I need to use it.

I'll update my experience once it arrives.

Got an update from Fedex on Saturday that this is slated for delivery by Friday 6/4. Looks like it'll be ~10 days behind the original AliExpress delivery date but overall still within ~3 weeks (I ordered on 5/13).

I'll update again once I see what condition they arrive in...

Batteries arrived today. AliExpress had estimated 5/24, and today is 6/2. From the prior 17track.net info it looks like the majority of that delay was actually getting from China to Hong Kong.

The batteries appear to have arrived in good condition. There's a small dent on one cell (second photo). Given how well these were packed, the fact that the dented battery happened to be in the middle of the set, and how there didn't appear to be any damage to the box, I highly suspect they were damaged either in the manufacturing facility or when packing. That said it's small and I suspect (or at least I hope) it won't affect the battery.

The batteries all have QR codes. The serial numbers are all fairly close (only the last 3 digits vary). The QR code says CATL 3.2V 867Wh. 3.2 x 867 = 271Ah. We'll see if these really test out at 280Ah... seems possible if CATL de-rates but a bit sketchy.

Initial battery voltages tested at 3.276, 3.277, 3.277, and 3.278. Wow.

Busbars that came with it look decent. I'd like them a bit wider, but they're reasonably thick. That said they came with 3/8" long M6 screws and a washer, so I'm off to the hardware store to pick up some M6 threaded rod or grub screws (if I can find them).

get all ur money back pls
Why? Can you elaborate? Are you saying this because they show 271Ah vs the 280Ah advertised, or is there something else wrong with these CATL cells? LiitoKala will accept returns but I'd have to pay for return shipping, so unless these are duds why would I pay hundreds of dollars to ship this stuff back?

As best I can tell LiitoKala is a reseller (VAR) not a manufacturer. They don't manufacture any of the large 3.2V prismatic cells. If I'm wrong I hope someone from LiitoKala will reply to this thread. But I'm not surprised at all to see these are re-labeled.

I'm still top-balancing, but if they cycle at 271Ah instead of 280Ah, for my purpose they're fine. I may complain to the vendor and ask for a credit, but TBH I would have paid the same $ for 271Ah cells as these will go into an RV where they rarely get cycled more than 20-30%. That said my load tester is only 5A so quite likely at such a low C rate these may test at 280Ah or more even if they are only capable of 271Ah at 0.5C.

my mistake, I thought your pictures display dented cells, inspect them, if you are happy and move on, if you did not get what you paid for, dispute with CC.
