I am going to chronicle my experience ordering REPT 280AH cells from Exliporc on Alibaba. EVE and Lishen cells have been out of stock or pricey, so I decided to give the REPT cells a try. Gina Zhang at Exliporc sold me 32 cells for right about $3k, including shipping and double bus bars.

I placed the order on April 5, 2021. I was initially told they would ship by April 9, 2021. Then after that date they gave me an excuse that they were out of bus bars. I didn't want to push because I didn't wants to jeopardize getting matched cells. I asked, however, that they test and label each cell for voltage and resistance and then send me photos. They confirmed they would. When I followed up again on April 15, 2021, Gina told me they had sent them to their freight forwarder just the day before.

But despite them claiming to have mailed the cells, they have not sent photos or a tracking number. I have followed up again today, but as of 4/21 no tracking number or photos. I remain hopeful to receive both and to receive matched and labeled cells by the end of May. I will update throughout the process to give others a review of both Exliporc and the REPT cells.

My plan is to build a 48v 560AH battery with the 32 cells and connect them in a 2p16s configuration with a single BMS (Chargery w/ 600 amp solid state relay). This battery will connect to a Growatt 48v 12kw split phase inverter which I hope will run my well pump, lights, a couple refrigerators and a couple air conditioners over the summer. Currently have about 3k watts solar which I'll move over from my 12v system, and may expand to 7k watts. Also planning to add a 48v wind turbine.

Any input, questions and comments on my system design and/or the REPT cells and Exliporc is welcomed.

I'm thinking of ordering from Exliporc. Any changes to your situation?

I initially looked at the Exliporc through Gina, and an offering from Amy but decided to order through Michael.

I too ordered 32 cells anticipating a 2P16s 48v system and also looking into an AIO such as the 12k Growatt. In my case with the RV I only need single phase 120v quality sine.

I'm interested to know the role of the SS relay in your architecture. In fact, if you have a working parts list of everything you're putting together I'd like to see and do some brainstorming.

Thanks for the thread and info!

I'm now told that they shipped out the wrong cells to me. To be fair they said they are mailing the correct cells today, AND they did finally send me the photos of my packaged cells, and of one of the cells labeled. But since they were the wrong cells I am expecting new photos soon. I am happy that they caught the mistake, and it appears they have actually tested the cells and are sending them labeled. The real test will come when I get them.

I don't have an official parts list. But what I've listed in my post is the bulk of it. The SS relay is something that the Chargery BMS uses to shut off charging and discharging. I decided to go that route so my BMS doesn't limit the number of amps I can draw from the battery. For an RV setup I would use something similar to my current setup. I'm currently using a Victron Multiplus for the inverter, and I'm using a couple Renogy 60 amp charge controllers for charging. The Victron inverter (3k watt) was pricey but worth it. My last cheap inverter rated for the same amp load got fried simply by running the 800 watt microwave. If you did want the 12k Growatt, it is split phase, so you will get 6k at 120v from one of the legs. You could wire both legs separately so that one or two of your AC units is on one 120v leg, and the rest of your power is on the other leg.

I've ordered 32 cells from Exliporc new energy, on March 16, they shipped on the 5 of April to Ontario,Canada. I've purchased 32 cells a year ago from Amy at Xuba. These were said to be grade A cell. Not convinced.. Anyways with Exliporc they seem honest and there price was reasonable. I did receive the tracking number on the 5 th of April also.

Shipping 8 to Ontario, myself. What was your price per cell like? I'm currently talking with Summer from Exliporc - she's been pretty good about sending photos/videos of cells I'd be picking from and describing any damage, bubbles in the wrap, etc.

Paid 88 usd$ ea., 3650 usd$ total with shipping. These are the 310ah Catl, they cost me 1000 cad$ less than a year ago from Xuba order of 32 cells.

Thank you, that price seems proportional to the REPT 280's I'm ordering.

Are you saying the same order would of cost you less than $1000 less than a year ago?

My cells have been sent out and I received photos. They look like good cells. Good terminals with screws, qr codes, etc. They are all labeled with voltage and resistance. Packaging looks good. So I'm happy.

Can't wait to receive them and do a further review. The 310AH cells someone else wrote about here I've heard back things about. They were from a bad batch. In fact, Gina told me that the 280 AH CATL cells they sell are the same as the 290 and 310 AH cells others sell, but they sell them at 280 because the cells usually don't meet their rated amp hours. That's one reason I bought from Exliporc, because they are being honest about the AH you can expect to see from those cells. I appreciate that.

Overall so far I'm happy with my experience. I'm just in a rush to receive the cells because we live in a hot climate and they will be provided us AC this summer.

Yup, that's what my contact; Summer at Exliporc, said to me too; basically that the cells will probably achieve about 290Ah but they derate them to 280Ah because all will at least be capable of that and thus its a more honest assessment. That instilled confidence in me as well.

I cannot wait to see the test result and the condition of the cell and how they will handle the issue if any before I will place the order. Please keep us posted, thanks!

Well I just place my order for set of 4 280Ah REPT cells (Without the stud in place) with Summer Feng. I just have to wait and see how good they are when I get them. My existing battery pack is Lishen 272Ah that I got in January, so now I am building the second battery pack to get ready for California rolling blackout, last time I was out of power for 4 days!
BTW, May 1st ~ 5th are the May day holidays, Summer told me they will ship out the batteries before the holiday.
I was going to get the $75 one but according to
Summer: The model your inquired is CATL 280Ah, without QR code, 1 year warranty.

Has anyone actually received and tested REPT cells yet, I thought I had ordered Eve cells from a supplier but now they are trying to send me REPT. They said the first batch of Rept cells they had were sent back for one reason or another but this new batch are good. Whether or not this was just an excuse because I said I could get rept cells slightly cheaper from another supplier I don't know.

The QR code shown in the photo does not match the location of the QR code shown in the spec sheet. Am I missing something?

It looks like I'm in same boat as @itsmattmp. Originally I ordered EVE 280Ah (17x) mid April from Basen, due to ship this week, then was just asked if I don't mind REPT 280 substitute (see attached 298Ah measurement). I rec'd same REPT spec copy like @itsmattmp above along some picts (attached).

I went ahead and green lighted shipment. Just like pict above, the QR is off to side, and also have the mounting studs, now hoping for the better...

I must say, seems between seasonal storms, trade tariffs, chip shortages, energy shortages - have to wonder what's next? Been waiting on back-ordered gen-set since Feb....
