I guess it is a MASSIVE inductor...
Only two wires on it.
Winding appears to be solid #6 varnished flat conductor.
Wood core, iron cage.
Weighs about 40Lbs...

It does have an iron core.
The wood is just tensioning the winding.
Probably for sound

Also from the ups, a large ac capacitor.
660V, 40uf...
It was on the ac cord... a smoothing cap maybe?

That module is Transistor pack Half bridge drive module.
Are there two of them? need two of them for full bridge drive topology.
What is the model of this UPS?

Nope, only the one module on the massive heat sync the diagram shows two , maybe they are internal? What is it for?

Oh, this stuff is free plus shipping if anybody wants it.
I would like to learn about it first, but if ya wants, just ask...

And nobody knows what these parts do, or are for?

This inductor is bigger than most LF inverter transformers? Flipping huge.

I’m no electronics guru, but I want to learn. This has me baffled. What would the large inductor be for?

I know they use inductors in MPPT SCC units, maybe this handles the dc current?

As an electrical contractor, I get called in by many real estate agencies to professionally check things the home inspector found, and often, buyers have me haul off things sellers have left...
This time it was an old UPS. Weighed a ton, took three of us to load it in the van.
