If I have access to shore power and I want to charge my Lithium battery with an ac charger do I need to disconnect my solar charge controller before I attach the ac charger onto the battery? It's a Rover 60 Amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller and the charger is a Battery Tender 6V/12V, 4 Amp Lead Acid & Lithium Selectable Battery Charger. Thank you!

No need to disconnect SCC. You can have multiple charge sources connected to your battery, it is a very common occurrence.

Um, the OP was not suggesting that he/she connect to the SCC load output. Not sure where that came from.

@ op.

I never disconnect my shore power charger as it does not cause any conflict when plugged in. The SCC simply detects the high voltage on the battery side and shuts off its output.
