Anyone bought from Shenzhen Jidan?

I purchased 16 280ah Lishen cells from Shenzhen Jidan Tech on Alibaba on Feb 2. I have yet to get a tracking number, after asking multiple times. Shelly Feng is saying my order shipped and "is at sea", but I assume they get a tracking number once it hits the boat. Has anyone else ordered from them? If so, what has your experience been? Kinda nerve racking after laying out over $1600 on cells. I am hoping they are not waiting out a paypal policy on getting money back from a deadbeat.
Any experiences welcome.

The tracking number usually goes live once it gets unloaded and tendered to Fedex (or whoever the ground shipper is; I'm talking specifically about most Americans' experiences on this forum). Fedex isn't in the container ship business so their tracking number is just "pending" until they actually pick up the item at the port.

I'm not talking about Jidan in particular; I have no idea how they ship. But I imagine it's similar to the other Shenzhen sellers.

Shelly should be able to tell you if the ship has reached the destiantion port or not or when it will, then once the package has cleared the customs then FEDEX, UPS, or whom ever pick up then the tracking progess will be sent so you can track and see where your package is at. My batteries were sitting at the port for almost two weeks to clear the custom in So.Cal port before FEDEX was able to pick them up. Basen was able to tell me when the ship has reached the port, so they have way of tracking some how.

The local tracking number was given to me at the time of shipping (Shenzen Luyuan). Hasn't gone live yet. I managed to get the vessel name so I could track it at sea. Might be worth asking for it although they don't sound very helpful.

Thanks for the idea! I just asked her on chat on Alibaba, and she let me know that another customer who ordered the same day as me just received his batteries today. So thats around 45-46 days. Not bad if true. Guess I find out soon!

Yay! My cells have arrived! 56 days in total. I Received a tracking number 8 DAYS before arrival. All cells are 3.23v. Every terminal is taped with electrical tape, and all cells individually wrapped in foam. I was short shipped buss bars and screws, so I asked them to send as promised. So far pretty good.

Did you ever get your buss bars and bolts? I spoke to one other person who ordered from these guys but otherwise hasn't heard anything about this source. Shows they have only been in business a year.

Nah.. they only sent 4 busbars for 16 cells. I did get M6 bolts, but changed over to grub screws. But that order was $1600 total including shipping for 16 Lishen 280ah cells. I am hoping my next batch of cells I have on the way comes with busbars.

Did you order again from the same place? I want an additional 8 Lishens so I have been getting quotes. So far their quote is lowest. They are quoting $2200 for 16 cells now vs $1102 for 8. Still more than the $800 I paid for my first eight.

This posting is the only mention of that vendor on this forum. How did you get the "balls" to place that first unknown order?

Just took a shot. My second order I used Michael, but that waa in Feb, and I am still waiting for them to ship.
Its best to use alibaba chat with Shelly. She can sometimes provide a discount over the mini site, especially on shipping costs.

At this moment, I still want to know which supplier in China provides lishen280 battery. I asked many suppliers and they said that there is no stock

Lishen had stopped all shipments to suppliers right after the previous Chinese New Year. This has impacted many people, so lots of orders were not fulfilled. Most people cancelled their Lishen orders and switched to EVE or CATL, and others.
The news is Lishen just started to ship product again in the last few days, so it may take time for the suppliers to get product into their warehouse.
You need to remember you are dealing with the communist party in China. They are not Capitalist.

They shipped busbars and bolts, terminals are tapped, zero bloat, and they even provided heat resistant panels to put between the cells! I guess they have seen shorts to the aluminum shell when connected together without insulation

Let us no how they test. I ordered 4 catl 280 about a month ago from them. I need to order more. Wanted to see what I was getting before pulling the trigger on a big order. I was dealing with Winnie and she was supper helpful.
