Hi I am fixing to make a order on Alibaba for 32 prismatic lifepo4 cells I'm needing some input from some of you guys on the cells I am looking at purchasing I am looking at 32 of the New Eve 304 ah cells on Alibaba through Amy at Shenzhen Luyuan Technology Company and I am also looking at 32 of the CATL 302 ah cells on Alibaba through Sophia Zhu at Shenzhen Basen Technology Company. The Eve cells are going to cost me about 600.00 more than the CATL cells Are the Eve cells that much better than the CATL cells I would love to hear from some of you guys as to which cells you think are the best and which ones I should order. Thanks for any advice you can share on these cells.

If Amy is quoting you the matched and batched cells .... that is going to be the safest bet.

I have seen some reviews of people not getting good cells from some of the vendors selling the CATL cells .... have to do a search, I don't remember who the vendor was.

Only you can decide if the potential risk is worth the savings .... Have your searched for that vendor? https://diysolarforum.com/search/442212/?q=Shenzhen+Basen&o=relevance

Yes mam sorry I just didn't know which one would be best to ask my question in. And I'm really wanting some feed back before I pull the trigger on purchasing this many cells from overseas.

Yes Amy is quoting me on matched grade A new cells and after you suggested searching the basen company I found out there is 2 different basen company's with the exact same name one has been in on Alibaba for 5 years and the other one has been on Alibaba for 9 years and the one that I was dealing with was the 5 year company. The reviews on the 5 year company had more bad reviews than the other one. So it looks like I will be ordering from Mrs. Amy Thank you for your reply on this

Ok I went ahead and pulled the trigger on 32 of the New grade A 304 AH Eve Cells from Mrs. Amy at Shenzhen Luyuan Technology Company at Alibaba. She said they should ship out in about 10 days, tomorrow Monday will be 7 days since I ordered them so hopefully they will be headed out sometime this coming week. Amy has a very good reputation of delivering the very Best cells available and has good customer service which is why I decided to go with Amy. I had to pay a little more than I had originally planned on spending but I didn't want to take the risk on going with the cheaper cells from some of the other vendors. It is very hard to spend this much money on something that you have to order from over seas and then have to wait 45 to 60 days for them to arrive and then hope and pray they arrive undamaged and as advertised. Wish me luck guys and I will try to keep you all posted on the process and timeline. My plan is to use these in my existing solar project as 2-48 volt batteries connected to my off grid 48v 12 KW low freq. split phase 240v Growatt inverter.

TBH I've been here since the start more or less, You will not go wrong with Amy @ Luyuan. You will get exactly what you paid for. S&H is a royal PITA at this time thanks to Covidus Interruptus which has messed everything up Big Time. Now the real test, will be your patience. One BIG (ok HUGE) difference, is that Amy & her Husband OWN Luyuan, they are not just some shrub employees who do what they are told by Penny Squeezers above, while trying to earn "commissions". They both really take it seriously and work very hard 16-18 hours a day at it. Yes, I said 16-18 hours a day. They also learned to Never use Cell brokers thanks to Amy's experience while at XUBA (who has seriously hit the bottom of the ditch since she left). They are buying direct from Manufacturing (which is not the norm on average). That is also how they get the Matched Grade-A Cells from the factory and that is no small feat to accomplish either as they also have MOQ (Minimum order Quantities) and its big contracted minimums +, so it's a leap for them and so it has to be "right"...

Thanks for the info Steve I did not know Amy was the owner of the Luyuan company that makes me feel very good to know that she is not just a employee. I've never heard anything bad about her from anyone on these forums, so that's why I decided to spend a little more money on these cells than what everyone else was offering them for. Now I've just got to try and not get to excited because I know I've got a long long wait ahead of me.

Are 302Ah and 310Ah the same product?
I was not able to find any data sheet about a battery with more than 302ah.

let me know if anyone can find the exact producer and data sheet for 310ah or 320ah you can find on AliExpress.

but it is fake capacity of 320ah :

And note that all cells that have small QR code on the side have scratched original QR code from the middle and are refurbished cells (see rust on connectors and scratched near vent) :

Starting in just a few days, the new 6000 Cycle EVE 280AH K Series cells will be stocked by Amy. They are slightly larger than previous versions. Slight change in price too.

You won't have any stress dealing with Amy, as you obviously noted she is very responsive and a good communicator.

Any updates on your transaction and experience?
Yes Amy sent me a message with a few pictures the cells are built and they have shipped from Eve to Amy's store and they are in the process of welding the studs for me, so hopefully they will be headed my way within the next few days or so.

Just thought I would share some of the test date Amy sent me for my EVE 304 ah cells. This is the test data from EVE on 8 of my 32- new grade A 304 AH EVE cells the rest of the cells looks just like these so I am very pleased with tested ah results of each cell from EVE. Now if I can get close to these numbers with my ah test I will be a happy camper. Does everything look ok with these numbers for the new 304 ah cells to you guys.

Amy is going to have a hard time competing with EVE who are offering 12% discount on their own store so it was $109 directly form EVE alibaba for LF280K vs the $125 Amy is asking

btw these prices don't include freight.

Link?
FYI, we're talking 304 not 280, which is clearly more expensive.
