REPT 280AH Cells from Exliporc - Making 48v 560AH Battery

Yeah, my concern with plywood is that it's flammable. Not that it should be getting hot enough to start a fire, but I've had some close calls before with some faulty fuses (always use a UL rated fuse). My concern with using metal is having some kind of accidental contact with the metal and the terminals. Right now I've ratcheted them directly, but I'm looking at cutting out pieces of tile just slightly larger than the cells, and strapping ratchet straps around those so the inflammable tile compresses the cells. If only I had a tile saw...

Do they make threaded rods long enough for 16 cells in a row?
Yes. They have 72” threaded rods. But my cells will be broken into 4 groups (4 wide x 4 high) and 4 shelves of 16 per shelf :

I am using the 5/16” aluminum because I didn’t want anything flammable inside the cabinet just in case there was an issue. I am very concerned about accidental arcing from a bus bar/wire if you’re putting together or working on a pack.
I am using thin plastic matting between each cell and cell/aluminum plates.
I have coated my rack with liquid rubber to prevent accidental arcing and will do the same with my aluminum plating. However only the 5/16” edge will be the exposed part so it’s possible, however unlikely with that little surface area showing creating an arc...
One thing my diagram does not show, I am actually putting two threaded rods between every pack of four so I have consistent and even pressure on each and every pack.

I just received my cells from Exliporc, still currently opening them (over halfway to 68) but was curious if or how many of your cells seem to be more swollen than others? Just curious if this what others have been seeing?
Looking to order from Exliporc shortly, how did yours turn out?

I purchased supposedly 310ah CATL cells. So far so good. The one cell I tested for AH tested at 312ah. Several cells were slightly swollen but no worse than it seems a lot of others on this forum seem to get & deal with. Shipping tracking wasn’t the best. Over ok..

The QR code shown in the photo does not match the location of the QR code shown in the spec sheet. Am I missing something?
Wrong position.
Peel off the black top cover tape, and you will see the original qr code, scratched out

That's what I found on mine also.
The original qr code is gone.
These rept batteries are from exploric.
Does any one known whey this is?
Does that mean they are used cells that are relabeled?

I actually noticed the + sign on the top cover was in the wrong spot so I went to switch it and that's when saw it.

My 280's look like what you show in the picture. QR code offset from center.

The cells arrived well packed, flat and no damage. I haven't capacity tested them yet as I'm waiting for a load tester to show up. I only receive done of the ordered BMS units. I've been in contact with Summer Feng but no answer as to where it is yet.

I ordered mine as 280 ah.
Test 1 random cell at 298 ah.
Unfortunately 4 of the 32 cells I ordered were seriously damaged.

Wow 298ah!.
What current were you pulling?.

For the damaged cells, was the carton/packaging damaged?,
12 Amps.
And yes the box showed signs of physical damage. So probably not the suppliers fault.

It seems others who ordered from exploric in April, got some damage ones also.

This is the first time ordering from exploric for me. I thought I'd give them a try because their shipping costs was like $350 cheaper then, Dongguan Lightning.

But maybe there using a cheap shipper that doesn't seem to care much.

Who knows?

Hopefully I can get my money back.

They ended up sending me 4 cells for replacements.
They also sent me replacements when some of mine were damaged, but the replacements were also damaged! They use insufficient packing to ship these cells - very thin cardboard. In my case a lot of the boxes had holes on the top where the welded terminal screws had punched through. A lot of my terminal screws were bent, and a few completely broken off. Exilporc then offered to refund some of my money, but that was a couple months ago and I haven't seen a dime. I now have a claim with my credit card so hopefully I'll get some money back that way. I haven't capacity tested the cells, but I do know from my top-balance that some of the cells have much less capacity than others.

My cell were decently packed IMO,
With lots of foam around them.

The problem I have is it took 90 days for the cells to arrive, and waiting another 90 days is a pain to say the least.

Yes I noticed the cells have different capacities also but as long as they're all above the advertised capacity, I'm happy.

How would you rate the orders from Exliporc now looking back 6 months. Thinking of ordering 8 REPT's

How would you rate the orders from Exliporc now looking back 6 months. Thinking of ordering 8 REPT's
Surely not grade A as advertised, and not as honest as I thought they were, but after six months from my first order with them , I did receive a small compensation of 6$ per cell for them giving me false information . The cells I’m referring to were CATL 310ah advertised, tested 285 to 293 ah. With that said I have no problems with these cells up to date. Shipping was good , two per box and I got over ten with small dents. They compensated me for two swelled up cells and three for deeper dents. They compensate for the loss of cells only, and not for the shipping costs. The dispute went on for three months and alibaba sided with the seller. It took another 3months after that for me to get 600$ off towards another order of eight cells.
The last 8 cells were well packed, 4 per box with thicker foam. We're not damaged, and arrived on time. They tested very closely 280.5ah, and three of them at 286 ah. LF280K
