CATL 271Ah cell issues.

Early on I was asked to try and reach out to UPS to attempt to get info about the 1 of 4 boxes I never received. I could not find a place as the person who ordered and received the order, to file a complaint with UPS. My understanding is that the only party that can file a complaint is the Shipper / Supplier. But perhaps I have misunderstood the request.
What he said. Pretty well understood with US delivery services.
 
My mistake....It has been so long and the thread is so long I forgot how it was started.

You do seem to be rather involved in this for someone that, as far as I know, is unaffected by it, and has little reason to no reason to actually partake.
 
I'm a Right and Wrong guy and stand up for people who have been harmed, I'm sure many of your customers are walking on eggshells walking a thin line of getting a resolution or you just bailing.

I think everyone in here is an adult and very capable of standing up for themselves. You posting some things in here is going to have zero effect on the final resolution. Maybe less than zero, if that is possible. So in the end, you are not standing up for anyone. You are just stirring the pot.
 
Michael where do you stand on the Lishen refunds. Alot of us are needing an up date please?
I am processing those as fast as possible. Some from this fiasco have managed to get refunds that they should NOT have received until after the supplier takes action. Them having done that has seriously effected my ability to process some of the refunds that should and will be made.
 
The latest request from the supplier:

"We are negotiating with your UPS for compensation, we are Could you ask your customer to complain to UPS? Also provide us with the UPS complaint number ,that will be help a lot ,thanks in advance"

Please send the complaint numbers to the email address I provided for this mess.

I would add that I now have 64 of the cells that were part of this mess. I am not saying that any of you are misrepresenting anything at all, but of the 64 cells that I have that were part of this mess, 10 are badly damaged and or swollen.
Michael all 8 of my received cells not only look bad, had no hardware, were the wrong size studs, but are swollen like this photo. I don't know all the emails or things you want those of us who want refunds to do. Honestly I am behind because I trusted you were getting it worked out. That was a month ago with no progress that I see. As well as the 8 I got, I have 8 more somewhere in lala land. Am I just screwed and should take my slap in the face for using friends and family PayPal or is there something legit I can do?

Ok. My purchase was way back Feb 6th one of the oldest you had left to do i believe. 16 Lishen bats and a bms. Was hoping to get turnaround on them soon as possible since they had stopped production and were never purchased by you. When might i see the refund?

I did not willingly ignore anyone. Life happens and sometimes it is a shitstorm. You weather it the best you can and move forward.
The fact they got there money back should tell you something.
It tells us their Paypal refund was from the lischen people's money.

The Lishen people are getting refunds as fast as I am able to do them.
The people that got refunds that should not have just make it more difficult and make it take longer
 
But are you refunding Oldest purchases first or in order off the refund email address you posted about a week ago? Just trying to figure out what my wait might be.

Thank you for your efforts. I appreciate that. Would you mind, step by step, telling me what phots you need to what address and what words to what address or filing against UPS now even though I got the boxes over a month ago?

Frankly, I am at a loss as to what good it will do to try to file with UPS at this point. I just passed on the request of the supplier, who seems to feel that doing so will help them get UPS to stand some of the loss. Others have said that it is more or less not possible for such a complaint to be filed...I dont know.

I need photos of any damage to the cells. If it is a matter of swelling, probably the best way to show that is to put them up against each other (the wide side of course) so that the photo shows the swelling keeping them from meshing together as they should.

They are asking that people test the voltage and then to give the number of cells that do not have appropriate voltage, the number that are leaking, and the number that have serious physical damage but are not leaking. They I am supposed to tally it all up and let them know how many cells are in each category. My assumption is that they will propose a remedy for each category and that those remedies may differ.

I am not saying that I agree with any of that....but that is what they are asking. When they make their proposals, I seriously doubt it will match what we all want, and I also seriously doubt that their first proposals will be all that they are in fact willing to do. So then it will be a matter of pushing them as hard as possible to get as much done as we/I can. I also fully expect that I will have to fully involve Alibaba, and have already had some contact with Alibaba about what is going on with this.

Thank you sir. I am a noob and was hiring an installer after getting cells. How do I check the voltage? Sorry for having to adk
 
And you just posted your opinion, dozens of customers get ignored by Caro and you ignore that fact still.
No I have not ignored that fact and I have posted my feelings about it in three different threads more than once. And that's' a fact, not an opinion.
