I think it's time for a Multiplus

The one item I added to my MotorHome was two BP65 - smart battery protects 65 amps. I had a “salesman switch” that used a relay (it burned too many watts).. The real reason I got it was so the 12v stuff would not drain my lithium battery. (My rig needed two - yours probably just needs one).

I had installed new agm batteries- used them for a year - took my rig into the shop. It snowed. Because it snowed I left the rig at the shop for a few extra days (so roads would be nice and clear). Unfortunately the small loads ran the batteries down to 4.x volts when I picked up the rig. Recharged them - but the damage was done. Got one more years use - but replaced with lithium. Wanted to make sure there was double backup for killing power. I have them programmed to shutoff at 11.8v and 11.5volts.

Since you have a Cerbo & touch - you can use that to change major settings on the Multiplus- you don’t need the digital multi control panel.

Also - you probably want to get the Smartshunt instead of the BMV712- it is cheaper and all it’s info will be on the touch.
(The BMV712 does have a relay - so that may be the one reason to get it).
When I had the BMV712 I didn’t look at the display much at all- always checked out my CCGX instead or the Victron app on my phone. I didn’t even mount the display. The other item to be aware of the Bluetooth on the Smartshunt may be a little weaker - but to be fair it going through much more materials.

Don’t ya wish I would make all my comments on one post…

A few other items I see…
The wire between the bus bar and the Multiplus- I think that should be 4/0 or two 1/0 or 2/0 (at least that’s what I remember from the my install).

You may want to really look at the Victron distributor. It’s expensive, but then all wires are fused at the buss bar and it will be much cleaner wiring.

Good luck with everything!

I do have the smart shunt. I changed the image in my picture.

I think my SOK BMS takes care of low voltage cutoff to preserve the LiFePO4 batteries.

I ordered the digital multi control with the MPII before I decided to go nuts and get the Cerbo + monitor. So I will probably just return it.

My 2 SOK batteries can only put out 200A (I have seen 225, though). So a single 2/0 is good for that. When I get another SOK battery, I'll add a second 2/0 wire to the MPII.

I looked at the distributor but it's too big to fit in that space. If it would fit, I would get it.
