This has been a complicated upgrade. I had 1 AIO 120v. I just added another in split phase (SP). Been having issues with AC charging not working. Mains are showing but no charging. Manuel page 42 section 5-2 split phase wiring diagram. I missed the L1 L2 part on the utility side. I have it wired wrong & I don't have a 2 phase generator.

What I am going to try is just running AC charging into 1 unit. Unless that is a bad idea?

The correct solution(s). Buy a 2 phase generator & wire it correctly*. Or switch to single phase.

*In the diagram it shows N to utility. But there is no N in split phase correct?

Thank you!

There is no ground then?

Okay, I'll give it a try. Much thx
There is ALWAYS a ground. The entire reason for split phase is the Neutral. Neutral should be bonded to ground, but ground should never carry current.
240V loads on split phase do not NEED the neutral, but the 120V legs do.

I rewired the 2nd AIO off & nada. I have to get a 240v generator is the only correct solution. I have one but its not inverter. But looking at the plug pinout I see there is 4 wires. A bit of poking around with my volt meter & I should know what is what.

I can turn off the 2nd AIO, change the settings, move a wire on the 1st & then charge.
