Which brand 2000W pure sine wave inverter is better for microwave oven?

I'm going to buy a 2000W pure sine wave inverter in Amazon, mainly for microwave oven, and refrigerator, not using them together. I read the reviews on amazon these days. Some said yes, some said no. Any one can tell me which brand you bought. I paid attention to Aims power, Giandel, Voltworks and Renogy.

It depends on the size of the microwave, its surge power, and the surge capabilities of the inverter. If you have a microwave that runs at 1000W it may actually need 1200W from the inverter and it may have a 2400W startup surge. So you need an inverter that can handle the surge for a second.

I use a Samlex 2000W for my 1000W microwave. PST-2000 12V. No problems coming on 5 years. On second microwave this year.
Samlex recommends 2 times the microwave watts for the inverter.

which brand microwave you are using? I saw different brand microwave with different actual start power, even if their rated power is same 1000W. VOLTWORKS 2000w pure sine wave inverter is in DEAL now,I have much interesting on this one.

I have a SAMLEX PST-12 for a year now with no problems. When I turn the microwave on, it pulls 155 amps, or a little over 2000 watts from the batteries. Handles it fine. Just make sure wiring is good.

EDIT: Actually pulled 135 amps

Cuisinart 4+ years. Panasonic now. Good luck with Voltworks.

VOLTWORKS inverter servicer Grace suggests me :
microwave oven less than 700W, choose 1500W pure sine wave inverter
microwave oven between 700-900W, choose 2000W pure sine wave inverter
microwave oven more than 900W, choose 2500W pure sine wave inverter
And battery should be fully charged ,and 200Ah at least,
Their reasons as below
The power rating used with microwave ovens is the "cooking power" which refers to the power being "delivered" to the food being cooked. The actual operating power requirement rating is higher than the cooking power rating (for example, a microwave with "advertised" rating of 600 watts usually corresponds to almost 1100 watts of power consumption). The actual power consumption is usually stated on the back of the microwave. If the operating power requirement cannot be found on the back of the microwave, check the owner's manual or contact the manufacturer.

These inverters are not designed for long life and manufacturing quality control is minimal. If you get it then you should stress test it early and often well within the return window in case it's a lemon.

Microwave ovens cook (heat) food directly. They are much more energy efficient than any other cooking (heating) device. Except maybe the famous hotdog electrocutor from the 1960's.
My Samlex 2000W manual lists two times the microwave (cooking) power for the watt rating of the inverter. Maybe it's less than VoltWorks due to quality components?

Samlex is in a different class. Not just better quality components but also more robust design and honest power ratings.

Samlex 2000W pure sine wave inverter is more than USD900 on amazon, too expensive for me. VOLTWORKS 2000W pure sine wave inverter only 30%, suitable for my requirements. And one my RV friend has owned this same VOLTWORKS inverter more than 2 years, works well.

An induction stove is far more efficient than a microwave oven.

Microwaves excite water molecules, imparting heat energy to the water which in turn heats the rest of the contents.

Only about 50-60% of the electrical energy powering the microwave ends up heating the water in the food.

Meanwhile about 85% of the electrical energy powering an induction stove ends up heating the water and food provided you use a suitable induction compatible pot.

Even regular resistive element and electric ceramic cooktops, with the right pots, are more efficient than a microwave oven.

Yep, it's really not appropriate to compare the them. I would be interested in hearing comparison with Giandel and other inverters in the same class.

Samlex PST 2000 Watts Inverter $600 at donrowe.com. I have purchased a few inverters from them with no problems.
