I am also in NY, but on the Island.Did you receive yours?
Pretty sure @Sanwizard already has some of their other MASON DIY batteries.Did you receive yours?
That's the thing...I'm not sure these have even been put on a ship yet and are at sea? I have asked multiple times where they are or what the status is and I am told they are with the shipping "agent". I have tried to clarify what that means but I don't get a response. If they're already on a boat that's great. It's been a month since I ordered and if they are not already shipped I cannot continue to wait.Did you ask Adam what your expectations should be regarding shipping? When I asked Henry what I should expect, he was pretty clear with me, and everything seemed to go as he said it would. If you shipped by sea you may not hear anything until the ship gets in to port in your country, clears customs, and gets loaded onto the local delivery company (UPS or what have you)
"need" is a strong word. These would be really nice to compress and store the batteries longterm. But they are not functionally necessary to run my system from. It would change my design for where I'm storing them if I don't use these boxes as they are stackable and that's what I was designing around. If you need them, you need them, its still gonna take two months if you order them later, all this will do is put you further behind (IMHO)
My concern is if they already shipped, you may not have much luck getting your money back."need" is a strong word. These would be really nice to compress and store the batteries longterm. I can totally fashion some temporary boxes, but if they're coming in 2 weeks or 2-months makes a difference for my design. I'm also frustrated paying a supplier $2k and not being communicated with, so I'd rather get my money back and order when there is a more reliable shipping system and communication line even if it's a year down the road. I don't like giving my money to companies who only appreciate customers when they are trying to sell something, and not after.
I mean your cases are prob at sea right now, I dont even know what you expect at this point. I got as much information from Seplos as I did from Docan, thats just normal when you order from China. Just sit back and wait, and if they dont arrive by the time they said they would, start complaining then."need" is a strong word. If they already shipped to me that would be great news! If they could provide me with any info on that it'd be really helpful. It wouldn't be an issue to open a CC dispute for the transaction as there is no proof of shipping. If it arrives or is shipped then I'm happy to close it.My concern is if they already shipped, you may not have much luck getting your money back.
I just expect basic communication like: "Your cases are at sea". If they are at sea great, they havent even shared that. I know it will take 50-60 days. I'm not sure why you're upset at me or saying "it's my fault". I'm literally asking for the most basic communication on where my order is. I really don't get your response.I mean your cases are prob at sea right now, I dont even know what you expect at this point.
The guy said your batteries were with the shipping agent. That means they shipped. If they already shipped to me that would be great news! How do I know what that means? They are with the agent. That doesn't mean they are shipped. I asked "are they shipped and at sea", no response. The guy said your batteries were with the shipping agent. That means they shipped.
That's exactly what it means dude. How do I know what that means? They are with the agent. That doesn't mean they are shipped.
I'm really not interested in going back and forth with you about what you think I should do given the situation. Thanks for your input. That's exactly what it means dude.
I'll share with you one useful tip about shipping the box. As I ordered my cells from Amy W. and Docan, I just asked her (Amy W.) to handle shipping both the box and the cells. (shipping cost was the same) then seplos send the box to Amy.I'm really not interested in going back and forth with you about what you think I should do given the situation. Thanks for your input.
If you ordered via Alibaba, the order status would update as shipped. If they already shipped to me that would be great news! If they could provide me with any info on that it'd be really helpful. For a mobile use case in a DIY box, flexible bus bars may be a better option, just in case. This isn't a battery box. This is a fixture that I am working on for installing cells in my sailboat which has a built-in battery box that is sized to hold two of these. my primary concern is to keep the individual cells from moving and putting stress on the cell terminals.
