Planning to post pictures when it's done, need some help first.

I'd rather smell the cables burning at a lower temp than operating at a higher temp.
Burning at a lower temp is worse than not burning at a higher temp. You don't want any burning. But that shouldn't happen with the correct size wire and proper fuses/breakers.

I was just looking at the spec sheet for Victron's 24V/800VA inverter. The max wire size it says it can take is 10mm²/8AWG. I had suggested 6AWG as a convenience since you need 6AWG for the higher amperage charge controller. So it turns out you may need to keep some of the 8AWG for the inverter. But still use 6AWG for the charge controller. Sorry about that.
No problems whatsoever, I can't refund this first wrap anyway, unless they want it in 8 bits lmao

NO. Never use an AC breaker for a DC circuit. Bad things will happen. Please triple check that all of your breakers are properly rated for DC. Some breakers are rated for both but at very different voltages and amperages. The breakers you need for the PV, the SCC, and the inverter must be DC breakers that can handle at least 30V (more is fine) and the specific amperage (more is bad). And the PV breaker must be rated for at least 80V.

Those are already installed and have been working great for the last 4+ years. Schneider B6 / B12 as per the diagram.
