Quick question: is anybody aware of a grid tie inverter that would work on a RV 30A hookup 120volts? Basically, my question is there a grid tie inverter that can use a one leg of the split phase in the USA, i.e. 120 volts?
Thanks

A typical 30 amp hookup would not be used by a trailer with 50 amp split phase. It can be done with a special adapter.

My Multiplus 12/3000 will take 30 amp 120 volt power from a pedestal and route it to the trailer's main distribution panel. Any Multiplus will do that. The Multiplus II is designed to work with 50 amp split phase.

30A is not split phase. 50A is split phase.

There are many AOI single phase units that can utilize the 30A cord for input. ~3500W

The multiplus is an upper-tier product and people speak of them well

I use an MPP LV3048 with my 48V system on my RV. 30A RV system. I plug into shore occasionally and allow grid to help charge. Super simple to wire in. Just interrupt the shore plug wire before your panel, splice in extension wires to go to your AC IN on the all-in-one. Then AC OUT goes to the panel. Done. Set your paramaters for when unit is to pull shore power. Walk away.

Check out Samlex AIO inverters. They are made in USA and have a great reputation among those who have bought them. The EVO series is great. I purchased an EVO 2224 to power our truck camper and couldn't be more pleased with the AIO or the customer service. You actually get to speak to a knowledgeable person.
