    Charge Ebike from lifepo4

But 60amps+ ? Instead of 1.5amps? When I use the charger in the house, it does not use nearly that many amps.

    Charge Ebike from lifepo4

The charger specs are well bellow the inverter's output. input : 100-250vac 1.5amps output: 58.8v 4amps The inverter is this one. GIANDEL Power Inverter Pure Sine Wave 600Watt 12V DC to 120V AC with Remote Control Dual AC Outlets CETL Approved for Small Solar System Outdoor Emergency...

    Charge Ebike from lifepo4

I have a homemade 200ah LiFePO4 battery that I use in my overland rig. I built it using the specs found on this site. It uses the Overkill BMS. I also have a 52v, 15AH ebike battery. The other day I attempted to charge my ebike with its supplied charger by using my 600/1200w inverter. Setup...

large delta on one cell after capacity test

I think that is probably fine.

    DIY LIFEPO4 heater

I picked up a 3/16" aluminum plate and one of those RV 12v water tank flat silicon heater pads. I am trying to figure out the best way to activate it. I think it will be most needed after a long night of freezing temperatures in the mountains. I have a few of ideas but I am sure this has long...

    Long thin solar panel sizes

Now that might work. A little big but it might fit. How did you search for those?

    Long thin solar panel sizes

I found those eseier. They are 10" too long. Would be perfect if shorter.

    Long thin solar panel sizes

I just found these harbor freight panels which are almost the exact size I need. They seem a little low on power for the size but maybe not. Could I hook two of these together to charge both by starter battery and lifepo4 battery...

    Long thin solar panel sizes

How can I go about finding a solar panel that would it in a 47" x 18" space? Its difficult to search by size. And how much power could I except from a panel that size? Thanks Tony

large delta on one cell after capacity test

I think I figured out the problem. I had painted around my terminals with liquid tape to shield them and a tiny spec had gotten between my bus bar and the terminal, causing resistance.

large delta on one cell after capacity test

I charged up my batteries most of the way and then put them back into parallel and top balanced them again. When I was done I left them sit all day, still in P, and tonight I measured each cell (3.640v) after I removed them from parallel but before I put them back in series. I hooked everything...

large delta on one cell after capacity test

Recharging the battery and all cells look good. The “bad” cell #4 has been a little ahead the entire recharging time. I will top balance again and check all the connections.

large delta on one cell after capacity test

Ok thanks. I recall Will P. making a big deal that he was “ripped off“ because he only got 116AH instead of 120AH. I took that to mean anything less than 100% was unacceptable. I thought all LifePo4 cells came from China. I did not note where they diverged. Can I charge them and run...

large delta on one cell after capacity test

I do consider it bad, since I paid for 100%. Are you implying that 97% of new grade A cell capacity is common and normal?

large delta on one cell after capacity test

Doing my first capacity test in my first top balanced Lifepo4 build. As the battery gets closer to the end of the test, one cell has started to drop much more rapidly in voltage than the others. You can see the delta on cell 4 is large. The delta was very small for most of the test. Is this...
