My firmware is the same and I also had no problems this morning. Super happy they solved this quickly for the both of us, and im sure some others out there. It was great working with you and EG4 to try to figure out the problem, or where it was stemming from, and it looks like they found it. Now...
I am also having the same issue with the same inverter. Issue starts in the morning. It stays at 120V until I either turn off PV from EG4 Switch, or turn off PV at breaker. I have 1 series string that sits at 445v open circuit. It then goes to an appropriate ~365v or so on after the "reset".
I...
Thank you. I see the MPPT is attacking the solar to start, keeping the voltage well in range(even if it was cold and could have been out of range compared to the circuit was at open voltage).
This is mostly what I expected in the morning, as the spikes don't ever reach your OCV. So this will...
Back story: I decided to get a new router because I could not get my ISP router "EERO Max 7" to allow Plex to connect outside the network(internet).
I purchased Asus BT-BE7200 router. It can be a little clunky user interface, but that seemed to not matter in this issue.
On both of these routers...
I was able to fix my issue. I made a new thread here, since it may not be related:

@Joehaynie Since our Open Circuit Voltage is close to the same. I am going to reduce my series string down one panel for tomorrow morning to see how it performs. Worse thing is I just add it back in when I turn the system off, or maybe figure out somewhere the issue could be stemming from. So...
I had a very interesting experience with this new company. And I wanted to share it with the community.
Direct Solar Power or https://directsolarpower.com/ directsolarpower.com (adding all for tags and searches)
I am going to be a little vague for some mild anonymity.
I have recently purchased...
Also, like others have mentioned, and I need to double check my settings as well. Make sure all your charge settings are set properly for your batteries since you are also running lead acid mode. I requested for them to implement a new setting for lithium batteries that don't have a BMS, so...
I did take one panel out of the series already. It should drop it to about 400v or so I would suspect. Maybe a tiny bit higher.
I use a double pole breaker. So it is either on or off for both sides. I am only using 1 PV line, out of the 4 available, splitting the 2 mppt controllers. so just 1...
I only have 1 input, 1 array, 1 string, 1 double pole switch, 1 black and red PV line in, All panels in series.
This suggestion doesn't help me.
I think this is the only option. Taking 1 panel off my string did nothing. I might try 2 for tomorrow morning.
Wow, that is annoying. Well sorry to...
Just a heads up to people still dealing with this issue. I had my inverter updated yesterday, and it still remained at 120v this morning until I eventually got around to doing a breaker reset. I will update again when something significant happens. It sounds like they will need to push another...
This seems a bit odd for me to understand. In the morning, does the voltage not slowly creep up from 0? Also on some of the warmer days this week, I am unsure this is a problem here in Central FL. I could be wrong, and will test it anyways. I am more thinking the voltage is ramping up to 120v...
I can not find a section with any Start PV Voltage or similar text anywhere. Here is my full settings list. Signature Solar did help me with most of these, the ones that were changed anyway. Since I had "dumb" lithium batteries(no Ethernet connectivity), I use lead acid, and set equalization...
I never requested any information to be removed, Via private message or on this thread, or otherwise. This removal was completely done on glandpuck's own choosing. I just wanted to clear this up. There was some good information others could have learned from on his redacted post. Like I...
Great to hear some success! Do you think it was from my method, or something else like just messing around?
I also did try to update the firmware on the dongle through other stages of troubleshooting, maybe that is important as well.
To add to this, The network must be a single 2.4 Ghz. New router tech usually combines 5, and 2.4 to make 1 network. I think this is now a big part of my issue. I gave signature a call again because my network went out, and it stopped communicating again after it reset.
I would recommend if...
Can you share what you did to resolve this? I am having the same issue.
I was able to reset it before, but now with a new asus router, it does not want to connect and I am having many similar issues as every one else has been having.
Literally no one asked for this... I know what a BMS is. I just wrote my post wrong, and I get it, one small detail changes a lot. But it really did seem like you came around to be a "know it all..." A BMS Cable is what I meant. One could probably pick that up if they read the whole post. Thanks...
You did not give me emotional disturbance lol. It just seemed like you completely ignored the previous postings. You could have probably gauged the education level from this, due to the reasonable testing, Just to eliminate any other factor others were bringing up(even though I highly thought it...
I should have been more clear on what I talked about with Sig Solar. The representative specifically said I should split it and it will only work on 2.4ghz band. Now I also have had it running fine on 2 different multi band routers(changed ISP). It was an issue getting it on my 2nd ISP router as...
Just and update, without testing individual panels, it seems they are working fine. I only deployed about half. But due to a temporary deployment, and not yet individually testing each one, I can not fully confirm anything more than that they seem fine still.
As for what pikachoo states, I...
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix the obnoxiously loud fan noise from the Growatt SPF 6000T DVM Inverter? As people who own this unit knows, It will turn on to max (on and off switch) when it hits a certain load or temperature. I would rather have a quieter one that stays on...
