    Lol. That would be too difficult; but, yes, he can lower the amps going in simply by either lowering the charge voltage or limiting the charge (he can do that with his charger, but rather coarse adjustments - maybe in about 1A increments). Thanks!

    That would be high frequency inverters vs low frequency inverters. Or toroidal. They each have their own pros and cons. I used to be a big fan of the heavier ones as well. Still am. But high frequency transformers have come a long way. Am not an expert on them, so others will have to chime in.

    I only put essential loads on the inverter, and my big appliances (like old A/Cs, heaters, etc) are still on the grid, and the inverter does battery grid sharing (like a slow, steady release). But, of course, if you're completely off grid, that doesn't apply to you.

    Took about 10-11 days. Hit 3.5v and stayed there (when I saw it, current was very low, like 2 amps). Put it to 3.6v, and within 2 hours if I remember correctly, it hit 3.6v.
