i purchased a 240A MCB that I plan to be used for my battery to inverter connection. but I realized that the symbol has no step and curve..only a switch symbol with X ? what function is reduced ?
The Idea of Having Solar panel in the city is to Save Electricity Cost. So I want to Harvest as Much solar Energy as Possible..
so My ideal situation is. in the Morning till Afternoon when Solar Power is Strong, and Battery SoC is less than 90%,The Inverter will use PV to power the Load(house)...
I was planning to To install a cable from Inverter to Battery. So I turn off All inverter input source and power. ( Inverter is Off , all MCBs from PV and Grid are Off ).
then I install the cable to Inverter on " Battery label " ( the cable that connect Inverter to Battery) . and let other end...
I am using 11000VA techfine Inverter.. I saw when the Output (Load) is 2.35KVA and 2.29Kw
and the Battery discharging current 52A and Battery Voltage 51.9V..
calculating the output i find the efficiency is only about 85%.
is it normal (good ) ? or it is a bad Inverter efficiency ??
Here is my Set up.. ( sorry for messy cable)
I dont think Techfine is recommended.. I am not sure it has low efficiency because of the product or because I installed 11KVA but only using 3k power.
also it gives some electric shock back to the solar panel. it doesnt happen to My Growatt On...
the document didnt say anything about battery.. only PV and SCC..also the cable sizing.
i want to protect battery because its an expensive devices. i dont want it charged by overcurrent or being drawn by too high current.
Nope.. my Inverter dont have this function..
if I set SBU ( Battery < 70%), Load will be powered by Grid 100%.. when battery >70%, the DC mode will active and Load will be powered By PV+ Battery.. No Option Using Grid..
but ,
when Battery < 20%, it will back powering Load by Grid. PV will...
I Installed 11000KVA hybrid Offgrid Techfine inverter with 18pcs 555wp Longi Solar Panels. I also have 52V 280Ah x 2 Battery with BMS.
everything run and no error. But I annoyed by the system setting..That I can not have tHe PV Power Load First then excess energy will be used to charge battery...
when I installed Battery for Offgrid solar panel System. do I need 2 DC MCB or Can I just use 1 ?? what is the advantages having 2 MCB ( plus and Negative line) ?
do I need to add Fuse as well ? the 150A fuse was come with the Inverter free when I purchase it.
Hi.. i was wondering If anybody have complete list of recommended safety devices for AIO inverter system ??
here the list that I can think of. please correct me..
A from Solar Panel to Inverter:
1. DC 2P MCB
2. DC fuse
3. DC SPD
B from Grid to Inverter Input
1. AC SPD
2. AC MCB
C. inverter...
so I have Submersible DC pump with this rating.
voltage : 12V
current : 8A
power : 200w
why those number doesnt add up ?? i also saw online those similar pump but it always doesnt match between power and Voltage x current ??
so I found these few phenomenon ..
1.I turn have off Solar panel switch ( disconnect solar panel to inverter ) then I put a test pen on a cable that connect from PV to Inverter Input ,the test pen is ON ( meaning there is AC voltage there)..
2.my solar panel give electric shock when I Give...
right Now ....i check the Data.. PV power generated is 5.37Kw , Active Power 948w (generated power 1kw) . and Battery Charging at 57A , 54V ..
calculating the energy Lost is 5370 - 948 - (57x54) = 1344w .. which is about 23%.
this is very Bad Efficiency inverter Doesnt it ???

well.. I can Set Grid On or Grid Off..
when I set the Grid On + SUB(Solar-Utility-Battery) power input + LBU output priority → PV will supply power to Load first then Battery then Grid. it works just what I want BUT .. it will Ignore power from Battery as long as there is still Grid connected...
