Too good to be true cheapest lifepo4 that I have ever seen.

Their 100ah black with a blu tooth BMS is not huge but I wonder about the (possibly) unproven 15,000 cycles and all of the other advertising. And I really don't think that Amazon reviews are that reliable. That's why I asked on here. I bet that the Clear cased one is a gimmick.

Too good to be true cheapest lifepo4 that I have ever seen.

Saw this on amazon today. of course, good reviews abound. Anyone on here try these? I might just have to try a couple and see. https://www.amazon.com/PUPVWMHB-LiFePO4-Phosphate-Self-Discharge-12V100AH/dp/B099HSKY5X?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

    Load hardware to test capacity.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have been meaning to get an inverter as I stay 12v in my little systems. That may be a lot faster. Battery has been cycled at least 3 times since the discrepancy appeared.

    Load hardware to test capacity.

3 year old 100ah 12v lifepo4 battery from reputable contributor to this and other sites. Well cared for and stored and used according to proper practices. After it was stored for a Nevada winter inside the house, the BMS says that it is 100% at 70ah, not 100ah. Manufacturer said to find a...

To shunt or not to shunt...

I dropped the change on the Victron, bluetooth shunt. The battery's bms/bluetooth information was a bit wonky so the Victron is more "truthful". I also plan on expanding the portable system and I wanted separate (s.o.c.) monitoring points in the system.

Off Grid Trek solar blankets - any good?

Really stunned by the prices attached for solar blankets. ROI would take years longer compared to almost any other option.

    Milk crate Portable 100ah

Added a Victron SmartShunt back in May. The bluetooth app for the reBel BMS (Xiaoxiang) is a bit wonky. After 10ah of depletion, the BT app sez it’s at 63% (or some other obviously wrong percentage) but correctly reflects the proper voltage. I got tired of not knowing precisely and I like...

“Powered Portable Solar” Brand panels. Independent reviews or experience with them?

I’m sorry, I have no interest in flexible panels. My question was one regarding the company’s quality with the emphasis on their Rigid panels. I should have been more specific in the heading

“Powered Portable Solar” Brand panels. Independent reviews or experience with them?

I’m thinking of DIYing a foldable 200 watt portable, folding panel setup. I saw a video on youtube where a guy used these (Rigid 100) and while he and the website say these are great, has anyone here used this brand of panel either flexible or ridged? Thanks in advance.

    VictronConnect Shunt disagrees with BMS?!

Late to the party. After installing the Smart Shunt according to the manual, I manually synchronized the shunt to 100% once the BMS showed 100% according to the battery’s values (14.2v at 96.14ah). I then put the shunt in its auto synchronize mode (battery settings window) and it has been...

    Xiaoxiang App discussion-questions

So today the app showed 36ah consumed overnight with my cfx50 fridge but, the victron shunt showed only 10ah consumed. Trusting the victron. Update: at 73% soc according to the app, I watched it jump to 100% in a flash. Glad to have the shunt.

110AC lamp rewired for 12v DC with 12v bulbs, is it that simple?

Yes, that’s what I meant by “terminations. Big fan of Anderson connectors

Need help with LiFePo4 batteries, to replace lead-acid for off-grid system

Just a satisfied customer; My reBel 100AH lifepo4 battery is performing great for me. Reasonable prices compared to many and really good customer support from Aric. I have no need for more at this point but when I do, I'll be going back to reBel. All the best.

110AC lamp rewired for 12v DC with 12v bulbs, is it that simple?

So I have a couple of regular 110v lamps that could work well for my camping situation if they were 12v DC. Is it as simple as re-wiring the lamps to 12v DC terminations and using a 12v bulb in the existing bulb fixture? Thanks if you choose to reply. Bob
