I had similar issue, when i hooked up 14 x 330w panels in series,Voc 39v no high voltage warning, but inverter refuse to charge battery well, till i reconfigured to 7s2p, all is good now

IMO, nothing special...just get a 200amps 4s daly or jk bms with Bluetooth and replace

yeah, a 2yr old installation. turned out to be a loose inverter-external busbar connection. tightened, restarted and was good again

your bms has probablly tripped off discharge. can you access the bms settings via bluetooth or pc? use a multimeter and try to read the voltage at your battery terminals. you need to find a way of re-enabling/reactivating the battery

If you properly top balance the 4 cells, you can use it without a bms for a while, a lil risky, but risk is reduced greatly if properly top balanced. I used mine without a bms for about 3wks, and it behaved ok. You can go a step further by attaching small digital voltage displays to each cell...

i would find another with similar capacity rating and similar charging float and absorb charge voltages...and call it a day. i am having a similar challenge as well. thinking of mixing fla and smf to make a bank of 48v, though would not equalize so as not to dry out the smfs...wish me luck!

HOPE YOU DIDNT REVERSE THE POLARITY OF THE INVERTER GRID INPUT, or the voltage/frequency is dirty...likely causes

SMF is sealed maintenance free battery, ie lead acid. learnt about 70 percent of smf is actually usable, though 50 percent if you want them to last longer. so am guessing 300ah 48v lifepo4 bank would be a suitable replacement for a 400ah lead acid bank?

Yeah, Amy said they are out of stock of Eve cells, and the Lishen cells are 272ah, not 280ah and slightly cheaper as well. Shenzen basen appears to still have Eve cells

So trying to trace an elusive drop in performance from my panels. What is the working voltage drop you guys are experiencing for the hv inverter?. Mine i have 11 x 250w panels in series vmp 37v, voltmeter measured 323v at breaker, but while working, iinverter displayed voltage drops...

the little i know about gel chemistry, the gel electrolyte is in a semi solid state, and battery performance drops as soon as the gel deterioates/drys out. conventional knowledge says once the gel drys out, its irreversible and battery failure & death imminent. i have a flooded battery...

If you can,try shaking the battery.if there is a sloshing sound, then its likely a flooded

why not get a new bms?. risky running pack without bms. dismantle the pack, top balance and you are good to go. or take the lazy approach, strap on a neey 4a active balancer, problem solved

loose connected masked by cross threaded nut was the culprit, when i experienced this issue. only a torque meter was able to pinpoint the issue. replacing the bad nut resolved the issue

I believe you know your way around Daly, and turned on the Bluetooth via the small button on the Bluetooth dongle. swap known functioning BT dongle if issue persists

get the cheaper JK 2A balancer of the 4amp neey active balancer and slap on the pack...it will balance the pack over time

Wow 298ah!. What current were you pulling?. For the damaged cells, was the carton/packaging damaged?,

3.41v may not be working well for your setup, I think you should increase the bulk to at least 56v 3.5v per cell

your battery lithium battery?..lithium battery connected SCC behaves so...when the pack is full... 2nd option is bad connection/partial contact likely in the panels...or scc to battery...check everything thoroughly, breakers too. 3rd option, is the scc is damaged from exceeding the Voc

disconnect the bluetooth dongle for 60 secs..reinsert...select series - far right...then click on the bt dongle number that pops up,,,and you would be ok
