I think without bms communication between inverter and battery, the inverter has no clue of the battery capacity; it has to rely on volts which is misleading in lifepo4 batteries as they have a flat curve. I’m in your situation but now I don’t care for growatt soc as I observe the batteries get...

Could you please tell me how to differentiate between whether the bms is canbus or rs485? I hastely bought mine from Aliexpress without asking if it will work with my growatt sp 5000es, thinking it will work as it was written on the page. ?‍♂️

Sometimes, Miniature circuit breakers have dual ratings one for ac and another for Dc. You need to look up the manual.

I ordered the same model of the inverter and contacted both signature solar and growatt support because I was thinking of 5s2p for a 540w panels by jinkosolar Signaturesolar recommends max input amp 22, optimal is 18 growatt support said 27amp would damage the inverter :cry::cry:
