    Victron Connect app not installing?

Well I got it installed. I started updating the shunt and it's froze at 31%. AND, there's a big red warning not to leave app while update is in progress. NICE! Left app 3 times and finally it finished the install. Ha ha ha

    Victron Connect app not installing?

I'm trying to update Victron Connect v5.97 arm7 to 5.99 arm7. I have a Samsung S10+. I get a incompatible app error message. I did the usual stuff yada yada yada, no joy. Anyone else have issues or some advice?

Victron Phoenix 12/3000 firmware update problem

No help here. I needed to manually enable a USB driver and find the victron connect settings password online, which is zzz. In the end, the firmware update did help with the humming issue, A LITTLE. Definitely not worth the $72 I paid for the dongle!!! I purchased my inverter from Inverters...

Victron Phoenix 12/3000 firmware update problem

I would like to update the firmware to hopefully eliminate/reduce the inverter's hum (PIA) but works great. My inverter is not being detected? I plugged the MK3-USB cable in, turned inverter on and installed victron connect, inverter not detected. Of course. I then used CDM21228_Setup.exe to...

    Panel disconnect?

With all due respect, recommending a knife switch is just mad. I found a nice breaker with a rail.

    Victron controller running hot?

I hear what you are saying and have lived most of my life with that philosophy. But, this system is powering our new boondock camper (ORV 28bks), which is now our retirement home since we full time. Being without power sucks. I like pics.

    Victron controller running hot?

Thanks for the advice. In the mean time, I laid the panels flat again and that helps. I'm going to invest in another controller, probably a 150/100 in the future. In the end, I fell going to two controller will increase reliability and hopefully eliminate as much of the odor as possible. I...

    Victron controller running hot?

I reduced (hobbled) the max charge current 20 percent and will find out what impact that will have on operating temp?

    Victron controller running hot?

I got a reply back from tech support and he confirms high Victron controller temps. He recommends splitting it between two controllers. Not sure about de-rating the controller. I will cognitively chew on that. I built a dump load by converting a 2.5 gallon residential water heater to 12 volt...

    Victron controller running hot?

The app stated 94.7 amps. Does it lie? I did not check it with m y current clamp.1640w of panel, BUT they never run at 100% efficiency. This is sounding like the situation I have with the new Victron Phoenix 3000/12 inverter humming. Tech support states I need to invest time and money ($75)...

    Victron controller running hot?

YES, it has plenty of space and is mounted vertical. Volts/amps are within operating range. I should not need to build a cooling system for this $950 controller.

    Victron controller running hot?

I have a new Victron 250/100 controller (2ga welding cable in/out), three 206 SOKs (parallel), smart shunt, Victron Phoenix 3000/12v and four 410w panels in series. They are tilted and we are currently in the Arizona desert. We have a very nice sunny day today. I saw 141 volts and 94.6 amps on...

    Panel disconnect?

I haven't seen many switches that will like 131 volts dc. I know a knife switch will work, but that is a Vincent Price option IMO.

    Panel disconnect?

I'm looking for a disconnect option between the 1.64kw panels and a Victron 250/100. I have the panels connected in series (four 410w, ~131v & 10amp). What are my options? This in our boondock camper.

    Victron Phoenix 3000/12 hum?

I haven't tried to pin point the source yet. We are boondocking in the Arizona desert, so I don't have my mechanic's stethoscope. I'm going to explore grounding first.
