    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

Grounding only at the main panel, I got from Will Prowse. The jumper to fix open neutral I got from Watts247. I trust both those sources.

    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

The way I understand it is, grounding should only take place in one location. In bypass mode since the main is grounded, I do jot ground my subpanel.

    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

I've got a 2 breaker panel hooked up to ac out. It is not grounded nor is it bonded. Treated like a subpanel since I'm connected to main via ac input.

    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

    It’s like 1.5 amps. But sometimes it’s just a mere 35 watts.

    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

    1) to do the jumper, I used a 3" piece of 12awg romex and attached the 2 neutrals together. 2) for the ac input, I cut an old 10 awg extension cord and connected the Growatt to the outlet and just leave it in there. Then I set it to only use the grid for loads when battery hits 20% soc. I...

    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

AC input is for when or if your battery runs out of power you can set it up to automatically switch to grid power so that your appliances don't shut down. But if you're not doing that then you can disregard what I said about the open neutral.

    Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM Inverter & EG4 48V100AH Battery

    1) it’s their battery and their cable, so yes it’s the right size terminal lugs. 2) I just used an Ethernet cable. 3) you’ll need more panels. I have 6 320w panels and it’s just right. I bought my panels used off Craigslist. Local pickup. After you connect everything, use an outlet tester on...

Battery never charges higher than 26.6

Ok. Max charge for my battery is 28.8. I set bulk to 28.7 and float to 28.6. I'm now getting 28.5.

Question about MPP Solar and Float Voltage - not necessarily MPP Solar specific

I'm having the same issue. Have you tried setting both bulk and float to the same level? Any luck?

I just can't understand the new battery pack I purchased from bigbattery. Its a 2.4kw a123 (8series5p) battery pack like Wiil tested. I've charged

I have the Wolf battery from Bigbattery.com. my battery will go down to 23.0 becuz that's what I had set on the MPP LV2424. Bigbattery.com said the Wolf range is from 20.0 to 28.8 so 23.0 works for me. My problem is it never charges higher than 26.6.

Battery never charges higher than 26.6

Will do. Thanks. On a different note, I just read another thread on this forum with a similar setup as mine and a battery from the same company. The op said he called bigbattery.com tech support and they told him to set both bulk and flight to 29.2 which I believe is the "GRILA' model's max...

Battery never charges higher than 26.6

Not sure. The display of the MPP shows the solar array is still charging the battery though, so I assume the BMS isn't cutting it off. Maybe you can help me understand this... When Will suggests that the sweet spot for charging a 24v battery is between 24.0 and 26.6, how exactly do we set...
