Considering upgrades, is my math correct?

I see my original comment on your initial post was far too late. As to load testing the AGM's I wouldn't worry about it. The bigger thing to measure is to get a grasp on your usage. Whether by using a whole panel meter of some kind (Sense is one brand) or individual circuit/outlet load testing...

Considering upgrades, is my math correct?

No, this is not correct. Not sure how you did it but it looks like you double 'halved' the LA. 600ah @ 12V (I'll even use the 12.6V nominal for a little more kick) is 7560wh. At a usable DOD of 50%, your usable capacity is 3780wh or 3.78kwh. It looks like you already applied the 50% initially...

    Daly BMS remote monitoring

I know you've stated on many occasions your inability or lack of desire to put something together that isn't 'off the shelf' but I doubt there is anything off the shelf to do what you want. There is going to be some level of 'putting something together' involved. I personally use Home Assistant...

    Socially negative impacts of solar

I could be proven wrong but I cannot see that happening in 100 years let alone less than 30. In any sphere of interest, I think many fail to really grasp just how much of the populations of a whole they represent. It's very easy to think, on this forum, that people like us are super common but...

How to Calibrate Growatt Battery Voltage Offset

What do the settings 29 to 33 mean? I'm not sure which setting(s) I should be adjusting.

What triggers Growatt 3000 to exit float and resume bulk charging (via solar)

To add to my experiences over the last few days, with my battery not powering any loads for some of the time (I just had the battery disconnected from the load side of the system) when going through its daily cycle, with my absorption set to 28.4 and float at 27.8, it would charge daily, with...

Monitoring software for Growatt-MPP Solar inverters

I also cannot recommend Solar Assistant enough. It is a fantastic piece of software and just keeps getting better. I currently run 2 Growatt inverters in parallel, with a Daly BMS, and also run Home Assistant. The software virtually seamlessly works with all 4 'things' (2 inverters, 1 BMS, and...

Daly smart BMS reported SOC issue

There's gotta be something right? An inverter yes? If the circuit is not complete how are you able to use the BMS to read anything?

Daly smart BMS reported SOC issue

When you say you have no load on it, what exactly is it connected to? Like the circuit needs to be completed somehow right? Do you have it connected to an inverter (that's my assumption), if so, most inverters, even with no load, do have a draw on them. I run Growatt all-in-ones and they draw...

Parallel and series connection of dissimilar amp hour LiFePO4 - best practices

Each battery that you make and connect in parallel (ideally with a parallel bus) will have its own, independent BMS. There is no need or desire to 'parallel' the BMS's. Each BMS will connect each battery to the parallel bus, that's it. If you are asking about using a single BMS on parallel...

Solar panel shading and parallel versus series connections

Less about zeal and simply more about life to care-factor ratio ... my panels are performing more than adequately at the moment, such that with my limited time the impetus to do such testing is quite low ... I will still do it and hopefully might find time soon so stay tuned!

Small backyard off-grid system: Permit requried?

You might not get a reply from the OP but I am pretty sure, technically speaking, that even the OP's project would require a permit in CA/LA. It's kind of surprising how many people don't realize what you need permits for and even more surprising, some of the stupid things you're actually...

What triggers Growatt 3000 to exit float and resume bulk charging (via solar)

I've never had that experience so I cannot offer a sugestion. Every time I get any solar energy, it seems to go into my battery. The fact that it doesn't, and with what you've described in other threads (and without knowing ALL your settings) it seems like your inverter is faulty.

    Help wanted-Growatt/MPPT users.

This seems like an inverter fault. I do wonder what the rest of your settings are. As Zwy has suggested, without knowing all of your settings it's difficult to comment. I will say, however, that what you're describing, adding a load and that triggers solar charging to begin, should not occur...

    Growatt + Daly, constant pain

That makes sense. I am still confused about what Ian thinks the issue is though. The non-smart BMS's usually aren't worth it. Usually though, it's because the parameters are set way outside safe voltages not because the values are tighter than what you would have on the inverter (sometimes less...
