I am new to all this but have always been interested in grid independence as a matter of being able to take care of my own needs but also the impact on a cleaner environment. I know it'll cost a bit more but id like to be largely grid independent.
Current or Future Solar Power System
I plan on covering the south facing roof with as many solar panels as i can fit up there and getting batteries (likely the power pro wall mount batteries) and the 18kpv to power the house. I also have a trifuel generator that I plan on tying in to the system.
