I think I can help with the AC limiter. On the newer units ( I have one) eg4 has included three limits. Use the “not used on this model” button just above the sleep button. It looks like two wind arrows leaving the unit. You should get different limits. .1,.2,.3

I ran AC limit test today, it’s hot in Denton TX today @102. Two hours at 75.1 with the wattage steady at 221. Not as cool as I like it… but it’s Hot!. Two hours at 75.2 with the wattage at 443. Comfortable!. Then two hours at 75.3 with wattage at 651. This makes colder air for sure. Still...

The charger has loops… i mounted to the buss bars. I have batteries paralleled 12v system. Unplugged then plugged,, it produces 28ah for ten seconds then back to 8ah. This is from a cold start,, cold charger.

Right… even the tech support agrees,, these will not run off a modern GFCI. This needs to be addressed. I’m working on a possible filter to isolate the energy from the grounding. I don’t think I’ll be successful.

I have a path to ground… the true ground is inside the house panel on shore power. It’s “bonded” to the Rv. I still use old school terms like EGC . This grounding conductor is picking up energy and is being sensed by the GFCI inside the house.

I have a victron phoenix 12/1200 inverter. The eco mode has a low wattage standby. I have tested as did Will Prowse, about 8-10watts. This sensing mode will wake up during very cloudy times,, and all night of course. I have 14k lifepo4 in my RV.

….just to add,, my array voltage rises a bunch in cold weather. That’s why I bought the 250volt input mppt.

On my system… if a clown passes,, the charging current is reduced. The current to the mini split also is reduced. This mini split just ramps down… but still cools. The new units let you set (3 Levels) of AC (alternating current) limiting. 300w,600w,900w. Solar has priority!. If my unit drops...

I only use a “Y” splitter from my array to the charge controller and to the mini split. They are in parallel off the panels. They share the voltage/current. I must stay above 90vdc and 2.4vdc to run in solar mode.

My mini split is in no way feeding off the mppt that’s charging the batteries. Of course when it drops out of solar mode it pulls off the inverter , batteries, mppt if in bulk or absorption mode. But the main path is just a splitter dc+ dc-

I’m afraid this can’t be corrected at this point. I can use any grounded outlet…. But not a ground fault protection outlet.

I can’t find any literature… after installing I pushed buttons and noticed differences in wattage of my Victron phoenix inverter and MPPT. My .1 is definitely the low value around 350w. .2 seems to allow around the 600w range. .3 about 800w or more. I wish I had more literature myself. I’m local...

We are thinking alike!. I’m over paneled, but on the cloudiest day I may not be in “Solar” mode but I’m throwing 40 to 50amps into the batteries. If my batteries are full,, I’m in solar mode on cloudy days. No voltage drop to the batteries helps for sure.

…. Not crashing,, but just ramping down, borrowing from the LFE inverter,, then ramping back up. The phoenix inverter has eco mode on and off levels that flow seamlessly. It works really well.

This mini split needs 90vdc …I don’t have that much battery voltage.

Moving the Lowest Current charger closest to the Shunt allows the chargers to stay in bulk charge!. Cheap Amazon chargers were dropping back if I have a Victron or Larger charger closest to the Shunt. Lesson learned today!!!😀
