I'm a software developer (specifically DevOps with a background in CompSci)
I have some limited experience with electronics in highschool. I've made my own circuit boards and I'm not afraid of a soldering iron, but high voltage and AC are pretty new to me.
Current or Future Solar Power System
I don't have a current setup, but I'm planning 2 projects, 1 very tiny solar setup for my RV, and 1 massive project in the next few years that I could really use help on.
I'm building a community with ~10ish houses worth of power, and I'm trying to decide whether a central plant or distributed system makes more sense. I have been doing a bunch of research but there are a lot of assumptions I need to check, and I don't want to get myself or others killed while doing it. Understanding when engineering needs to be properly done is also a big help
