Float voltage is the sustained voltage of the CC after other charging cycles have been completed.
That unit DOES have float in modes other than Li-ion.
If cycled daily, I would drop it to 28.0v and forget about it.
I babysit a neighbor's property with a midnite 150. The cooling fan makes horrendous noise and is likely to fail soon. Not sure of the age but 6-8 yo. Curious if there are fan issues with your units.
So far so good. The system pictured is a low stress B&B cottage with basic lighting, ceiling fan, and minifridge. 2kw of east/west panels. I am not taking advantage of the bifacial aspect.
My only concern thus far is the panels are the size of a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood. Not fun to mount...
When highs are over 110F for 6-8 weeks in summer the ground heats up. Still 100F at midnight and sunrise lows in the 90s.
Mine is 19 SEER cooling and 11 SEER heating with r410a.
I am suspicious of SEER claims up to 40+.
