Maybe I should check the battery in my voltmeter.

I just got a Rich 100 Watt solar panel and the tested VOC reads higher than the label. Label say 22.8, volt meter say 33.1. Should I be concerned? Should I use the label or the actual reading when determining voltage for my MPPT?

I wondered about that when I first set this up. These older renogy solar panels have a VOC of 21.6 volts X 4 = total of 86.4 V. I figured this was ok. I lived in the Mojave Desert and I kept an eye on the voltage, it never got near that. Now I'm setting them up in the Oregon sunless winter and...

Thank you. I have checked out wiring info and decided to go with a busbar setup with each battery positive going to a busbar with same size and gauge cables, and the same for the negative, since i am changing from two batteries similar aged batteries to four unevenly aged ones.
