Had a good experience with Schneider, I had issue with one inverter having random Battery Temperature without temperature sensor plug into the inverter. 1 day of trouble shooting with tech support (Jeno) at Schneider and they sent out replacement 6848 on Monday. arrived Friday had it installed...
My production doesn't look as impressive as that, I can't seem to use enough solar during the day. My arrays are still on winter tilt at 60 degrees and my batteries are usually fully charged by 11:30 - 12:00. I tell my wife to run everything she can but solar drops off in the afternoon. I guess...
I have 2 XW pro's Master/Slave off grid no problem with flicker at all. All of my lights are LED with many of them being Phillips HUE. I don't even get a blink when the well 240v well pump kicks on.
Most of the top of the line gas on demand heaters that I install have anti-freeze protection Viessmann, Navien, Lochinvar etc. won't help your pipes but the unit won't freeze as long as you have gas and power.
I called both tech support and sales prior to ordering my system and they both assured me that the XW line was not going away. Can't imagine that a product this good would be discontinued.
I did complete reset with the batteries this morning which shut down the inverters for 5 minutes. And change DIP Switch 7 to off and DIP Switch 6 to on. BMS showed up as Pylontech BMS. I found a new website post on Ruixu site that now is saying to set 6 on and 7 off for Schneider. Not sure but...
So far so good still trying to tweak some charger settings for the LiFepo4 batteries. running off grid so no Grid Tied problems a lot of folks are having.
I finally finished the install of a new Schneider system, 2 XW Pros 2 Mppt 100 600 and Insight Facility. 17.5 Kw in 2 Arrays with Trina Vertex s 415 Bifacial Panels and 30kwh Ruixu Batteries. Been running off grid for 2 weeks now in Central New York without any problems. I am on Firmware version...
So far I have had good luck, but I have to say I have only dealt with Jeno at Schneider. He seems very knowledgeable and willing to help. I did place an order with NAZ for another inverter and 100/600 plus extras, couldn't resist the price.
Thanks for the advice, I think 10 in series will be fine with what I can figure with the coldest temperature being -18F would give me 570 volts and with #10 wire at 200 feet I will get 2% voltage drop.
I am chasing a new problem and was wondering if anyone else has seen it, finally got proper communication with Ruixu batteries and everything has been working as you would expect. Then today got a
Battery Over Temperature Warning. Battery temperature is over 50 deg C.Solution: Check battery...
I will try and dig into the bms software in the morning and see what I can find. Everything went right back to normal after that except the warnings won't clear from the inverters until I do a power off and reboot the batteries and inveters
Well I think we have finally got to the bottom of this problem! I was on the phone with tech support and happened to notice that one inverter the master was reading 114.5 degrees F under the status page for battery temperature. Every other device was showing N/A.
Well everything went great for 4 days no problems until today at 2:13pm got another Battery over temp sensor warning I am attaching a screen shot and you can see at that time the temp spiked to 13.0 Celsius no where near 50c. but not sure why it spiked either. Also seems to be about the time it...
My Temperature Coefficient of VOC is -0.25%/°C and with the lowest temp of -18f not sure if I will ever hit the 575 volts. I could drop a panels from each string but that would put Amps very close to the limit also.
I checked in the Ruixu Bms Software app and all batteries are in the 10 to 12 degree Celsius range battery voltage is 52.7 at the moment. I disconnected the BMS and rebooted both inverters and power cycled the batteries. with no communication with the batteries I get the same message not sure...
Not Sure if anyone has run into this but I thought I would share my experience. After installing the third Xw 6848 to my setup everything was working fine until I noticed the Frequency was running at 63.98Hz. did not seem to cause any problems with lights or electronics but way too high. I...
On my setup I have Dell R720 with SC220 attached storage for main server stuff like Dockers and Kubernetes, my everyday computer is R7910.
An R420 as a backup server, and an R220 for my home/office PBX server. The only one I have on UPS is the R220 for the PBX which I really don't need. If I am...
I used https://temcoindustrial.com/temco-wc0340-welding-cable-4-0-awg-20-ft-50-red-50-black/ from my Batteries to 600 amp Bus-bar and then the same to my Schneider PDP. Great wire made in USA. I have drawn over 300 amps doesn't even get warm.
I have new setup with 2 XW pros, 2 MPPT 100 600 Charge controllers and Ruixu Server Rack with 6 Batteries 17.5 Kw of Trina Panels Bifacial. I am looking for a good starting point to set the charge controllers. Setup is off Grid at the moment. I am also struggling with Communication between...
I guess I was pretty close I set 56v for Bulk and 54.6 for absorb and float. Grid is available but not sure if we want the hassle with NYSEG in our area.
Well I do believe I may have a problem with the Inverters or maybe Firmware issue. I disconnected the batteries from the system ( no Closed loop) Reset all equipment Rebooted the Inverters powered off batteries waited 10min. Everything came back up fine without BMS Communication no problems all...
I have been testing different configurations and finally have some progress. This is my procedure.
(Warning ⚠️ this is on my dual XW's with Ruixu Batteries do not try if you have a weak heart)
Step 1 disconnect all slave batteries from master.
Step 2 Flip main Inverter breakers off
Step 3...
I agree with BKY2003 I would check you panel box also for Neutral Ground bonding. I may not need to say this but the first panel after the Inverters needs to bonded everything else after that should be unbonded.
I am getting a new Schneider XW pro system that consist of 2 inverters 2 MPPT 100 Charge Controllers and 40 Trina TSM-NE09RC.05 415 Bifacial panels 10 panels in series gives me 501 VOC. With the lowest temp for my area upstate NY -18F I could get close to 575 volts. Soligent upgraded my panels...
This is my first set of Ruixu batteries, very pleased so far but un able to get them to communicate. Like I said before can see the BMS if I set Dip Switch to 6 up on the Master but it shuts the Inverters down quickly. With 7 up nothing
I have a similar setup with my Schneider system in my shop about 100 feet away. I have Grid power running to the shop from the meter via 250 wire. the house has a new 4/0 cable running under ground to the house from the shop. I do not have grid tied to the house, from the PDP I have #2 copper to...
Not sure I do have AC coupling disabled on my system though. Not sure what 2.04 Firmware has but it worked on 3 inverters. I even tried Factory reset on them before I did the Firmware upgrade . I also did factory rest after I did the Firmware upgrade to 2.04. Insight Facility is on 1.17
Yeah the Ruixu Cabinets are very nice, heavy duty very well made. The only complaint is the bus-bars could be set in a 1/8" on each side. It's a little tricky getting the batteries slid in.
Yes plan is to stay off grid. I do have it available in my Woodworking shop. It would take a lot of XW's to start a 30hp Phase converter, but I may try at some point lol. Main goal now is to keep house of grid and run lights and 120v outlets in the shop of the XW's
I did the update to the Insight Facility but now I am getting warnings on the Mppt Battery temperature sensor not detected. Looked for setting to disable with no luck. Any ideas?
