Ground mount is the only option I am willing to entertain. My roof is 1 year old and I do not want leaks or dealing with a panel fire or fire from the rapid shut down equipment failure.

Sure. You most likely will have a connector on your PV line that can be disconnected.

If an inspector is looking at it they will probably want something like a generator interlock switch to prevent accidental line feedback.

Remember if you have great conduit and it goes underground the wire you use must be rated for wet location.

Something to consider if you are using the anchor bolts that come with the BrightMount system. They are 10mm and directions are to drill 1/2” hole. It’s a loose fit, I switched out to 1/2” x 5” wedge anchor bolts.

I have my generator inlet wired to the inverter and the inverter going to the panel with the interlock for the breaker. Not sure if your inverter supports that configuration but it works for me.

Not enough information, wire size will depend on amperage and the panels will need bonding through your inverter that should be bonded back to your home ground through your main panel.

Going back to the disconnect needing to be within 3 feet of the panel and originally stated a rooftop array. It would seem a manual disconnect would be impractical for this setup unless you had a really low roof structure.

Any new rumors for the PowerPro? Problems with certification process? Misspellings on the label? These batteries are heavy and we are having trouble putting on the labels? Post Office lost the labels and we had to reorder? Anything? Just asking.

I ordered the EG4 combo 18Kpv with 2 PowerPro batteries. Has anyone found a way to blend it with the EG4 Chargeverter? The manual for the 18Kpv shows direct generator support but I am still concerned with modified sine wave issues.

One other option is what I did. Wire a generator inlet box outside and wire it to an outlet inside. If you are wanting house power then just ad the outlet instead of altering something that might need a warranty claim.
