Thank you this hint, kept me until i found one of the crimps had a shitty connection. It was a hot and miss when moving the cable, so when i measured the first time it all seemed fine. Anyways, its all fixed and I learned a lot about the system on the way.

Two nights ago I had a cold night with no heat and the low temp protection on the Daly smart Bms did it's job. However, now I had heat for 24 hours and the temp sensor currently shows +7C and it still doesn't charge. The low temp protection is set to +3. Any ideas?

Yeah me too! I now got a message from Xuba saying they also offer to capacity test the cells and only ship cells tested above 280 Ah to me. Without additional cost.

Did you try it yet? Or anyone else? I guess it is the same one as this thread, so there is some feedback there. I'm curious about how it handles 150A continously? And if there are any known problems?

Any ideas on what can cause the incorrect cell voltage values? Any tricks I can try or just get a new BMS? If I can't fix it, does anyone see any risks with temporarily using this setup until I get a new BMS? It will hit the high voltage protect before the charge controller reaches fully...

Yeah great advice :D Seems almost too simple, but very very useful. Would be pretty awesome with a little "how to check connections" tutorial. Just measuring voltage and resistance without moving and flexing the wires didn't do it for me this time. Anyway, thanks for helping me out!

I've got a 4s lishen 280ah bank with a daly 250a smart bms in my van. I did a proper top balance before starting using it a few weeks ago. Seems like the cells since then have drifted a bit, especially cell 1 seems to have higher capacity than the other. This leads to sometimes hitting high...

Basen have now confirmed that their Lishen cells come with M6 screws and Xuba that their cells have M4! Would be really interesting to hear what you guys actually got?

Haha, I do mean 300W. It's a tiny van with roof vents on the roof so I'm actually pretty happy I managed to get the 300 panel to fit. Apart from the induction cook top I only have very low consumptions and I have propane as backup.

Ok I found the Daly bms balancing data. 30 mA bleed above 3.5V. Thats kind of less than i can measure with my clip on (or whatever they are called) amp meter. So I guess I could also just leave the charger plugged in and eventually get all the cells up to 3.65, even if it would take a few days...

Yes that's what happened, high voltage on cell 3. The multimeter at that point said all the cells were 3.53. Daly app showed the values posted above. So the BMS shows about 0.13V too high for cell 3 and about the same amount lower than actual value for cell 2. I temporarily raised the high cell...

Do you mean the harness connector to the individual cells? I did triple check that all the wires are connected to the correct pin and position on the cells. Is there anything else i can triple check and how?
