    Two 3s2p arrays in series?

Yes, definitely not ideal. It's just a temporary configuration to test out a new MPPT I'm getting and wiring my two 3s2p arrays in series is simplest since I have easy access to the pos/nev leads of each array. Thanks for the confirmation folks!

    Two 3s2p arrays in series?

Essentially that's the new temp config, but not a direct 6s2p. The negative of the first 3s2p array would go into the positive of the second 3s2p array. This is in contrast to all 6 panels in the first string being connected, then paralleled to the second 6s string like a normal 6s2p config.

    Two 3s2p arrays in series?

I want to temporarily reconfigure my arrays to test a new inverter I have coming. Currently, I have 2 separate 3s2p arrays (all panels are identical), each going into their own MPPT. The new inverter has a larger MPPT, so I'm thinking to wire my two 3s2p arrays in series to run into the new...

Dual Delta Pro with rack batteries

You could use rack batteries. Get a SCC to charge the rack batteries from your solar, then a DC:DC upconverter to bring your rack battery voltage higher to maximize the Delta Pro charging input. Or if the rack batteries BMSs support it, run them in series to increase the input voltage into the...

    Panel overhang past roof edge

Thanks folks. The setup idea is 6x 400W panels: 4 vertically mounted and 2 horizontally mounted (in 3s2p config). I'd like to get 2400W if possible as my solar charge controller can handle 1600W and I'd like to overpanel to maximize how long I can actually feed 1600W into my SCC. My current...

    Panel overhang past roof edge

Code aside, is there a general rule of how much a panel can overhang the roof edge (pitched roof on building, not on a mobile vehicle). The panel would be on racks that would extend past the roof edge. I don't get any snow, but do get winds sometimes into the 30s or 40s mph. Thanks.

    Overpanel a EcoFlow Delta Pro?

I got Hanwha Q.Cells. To maximize power into the Delta Pro due to it's current limit, I'd recommend getting panels with higher Vmp (but not exceeding the input voltage limit of the Delta Pro when looking at the PV Voc). Example: Panel A has Vmp of 37V (Voc of 44V). Panel B has Vmp of 33V (Voc of...

    Overpanel a EcoFlow Delta Pro?

Yes, EcoFlow panels are very expensive relative to other brands. Their price reflects their portability, which you'll ways pay more for. Any panels will work as long as your configuration doesn't exceed the input voltage of the Delta Pro.

Need confirmation for PV panel DC breaker sizing

Thanks rmaddy! I thought I needed to size it for the panels. I think I'll go 63A to have extra headroom for more panels. Thanks!

Need confirmation for PV panel DC breaker sizing

I'm getting 6x Hanwha 400W Q.Cell panels that will feed in to an EcoFlow Delta Pro in a 3S2P configuration. Each panel's Isc is 11.14A, so 2 parallel strings will have an Isc of 22.28A. I'm looking to put a breaker between the PV panels and the Delta Pro. If I apply 25% for NEC, and another...

    Overpanel a EcoFlow Delta Pro?

Yup, that wiring diagram is right. I'm looking at 6x Aptos 370W. I wanted to get the REC, but they're sold out everywhere. I think because they're discontinued as REC pushes their 400W and 405W panels, but those are super pricey.

    Overpanel a EcoFlow Delta Pro?

You should be fine running 3 of those panels in series, unless you live in really cold weather (PV voltage rises at lower temp). You'll be just under the Vin limit. I tried to get an answer from EcoFlow if there's a bit of headroom above their 150V, but they wouldn't tell me. I decided to play...

Bluetti Ac300 or Ecoflow Delta Pro home backup + also portable advice?

Bluetti and EcoFlow are the most established brands that offer these large semi-portable power stations. Most other brands are unknowns for support, company longevity, and ability to deliver if it's a crowd funding campaign. Both AC300 and Delta Pro have their Pros and Cons. The AC300 has...

    Overpanel a EcoFlow Delta Pro?

I could've gotten 2x Delta Pros. I think the pre-sale price for the Pro+Battery was a larger difference initially, so I went that route. Looking back, I probably should've gotten 2x Delta Pros.

    Overpanel a EcoFlow Delta Pro?

You must use their expansion battery packs (I bought the Delta Pro + Delta Pro Battery so I have 7.2 kWh). Hopefully they'll continue to make newer packs backwards compatible for more future capacity upgrades. You can use any solar panels you want as long as you don't exceed 150V PV input. I'm...
