    Batrium Installation

I run the CORE from the 24 volt bank it controls. No issues. I also use 24v supply for the expansion unit from the CORE. No issues with using 24V for the switches and solenoids as well - they are all rated to 30V. Works like a treat now and keeps on the wifi no issues. The only downside is that...

LiFePO4 heating pad for cold temperatures

Two winters later . . . Last year did not go so well. really low temps (-15 cel) and the watts the heating pad through out was not enough to keep up. Fortunately the BMS did and I switched to the lead carbon bank to maintain the heaters below zero. Seems to be the only way as the BMS shuts off...

Lead acid or LifPo decision time

You may want to consider Lead Carbon. They are right on the price point for cycles, etc. What you have not considered as well is that you need twice the amount of lead acid batteries than LiFePO4 as LA only takes you down to 50% before a cycle and they have way less cycles.

    Batrium vs other BMSes

Since I had a Daly, Overkill, Electrodacus and they all failed me, I spent the money and went for Batrium. The expansion board with the mechanical relays control the heating pads and the cooling fan. The one relay on the CORE controls the solenoid that is also mechanical. I leave my off grid...

    Batrium Installation

I never have had to go to Batrium yet for direct support but their email replies have been good about the Android APP (which does not work yet) and some issues with the WIFI. They are 14 hours out so have some thought about that. My daughter lives in Australia so we are used to the delay.

    Batrium Installation

Hey folks - Thought I would update you on my new BMS. Reason for switching: Initially on this same battery (EVE 280AH 24v 8S1P) I had an ELECTRODACUS. It was a confusing/technically tough install and did not give enough juice as a balancer - also was a passive balancer. I lost power a few times...
