My guess is efficiency. I believe the solar edge optimizers are all always working together to get the string voltage as close to 340V DC to make it easier to invert.
I recently picked up a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV based on the Ultium platform with a nice 85kwh battery pack. It seems like the only option for any vehicle to x solution that is available now is the GM Energy V2H system.
