I bought a 12v 200ah FEENCE for $360 shipped, came with 200a JBD BMS and actually had 209ah. Pretty pleased, especially since I can use the Overkill BMS app instead. Only thing is the terminal screws it comes with are odd, but whatever lol

Couldn't agree more, my only regret is that my excitement to get started lead to some sunk costs, AKA could have saved money and built a better first system if I researched more. But I guess that's every hobby :)

Ok I opened up the battery with the Bluetooth problem (not broadcasting to connect to with app) I unplugged the Bluetooth module from the BMS and plugged it back in, and it worked! I think it may have gone wonky because this battery fully discharged from sitting in a warehouse for over a year...

For what it's worth on the topic of this thread, it seems most China-made solar stuff sold on Amazon is shipped to LA and stored in warehouses in East LA. I've ordered many different brands of Lifepo4, inverters, SCCs, etc from Amazon and they all ship to me from that area. Can't speak to panels...

Nothing else to say, do not buy these (rebranded) battery chargers from Amazon. Worked fine (albeit under the advertised amperage) for the few times I used it over a 1 year span. Plugged it in today and it caught fire and shot smoke everywhere. Lesson learned.

Maybe spoke to soon, after I made the last post I changed my boost (absorb) and float to 27.6 and max out the boost (absorb) time. Hoping the max boost (absorb) time of 3 hours on the BN is enough to keep my cells balanced, still testing. But no more over voltage spikes/inverter resets as of now!

My guess is you have a runner cell and your charging too high (in regards to the number of cell over voltage events your getting). I would set boost and equalize to 14v or 14.1v, float to 13.5v, and boost charge return to 13.4v. In regards to Temgot's reply, I see the same thing on mine so...

I have the same BMS in my 200ah FEENCE. Looks like your getting a ton of single cell over voltage. What's your SCC bulk charge set to? I'll note that with very small loads the app shows 0 power output, sometimes flickering to show some output.

Thanks, I'll double check this but the timing of the "restarts" is just too... perfect with the SCC hitting Boost, I literally watch the voltage creep up to my Boost setting on the Inverter's display, and it freaks out and restarts/browns-out right when the voltage is hit and my SCC stops PV...
