Anyone see this? Company VKLOK . Can't be. Must be a scam. What would they send? Thoughts? 4 100ah 12v Enjoy Bot LiFePo4 $80.99 What! And Renogy 100ah 12v for $76.99 https://www.vklok.com/product-category/all-products/
I've tried to reset the Aili monitor but have not be successful as of yet. I switched my battery bank from 80 ah @ 24 v to 200 ah @ 24 v . the monitor keeps going back to 80 ah. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks
The 100 amp breaker disconnected. I was charging my Leaf with a 2000 w array at 10 amps. I think I will probably need to stick to 8 amps and then the batteries won't have to do much of any work.
Thanks so much. I'm practicing on a piece I cut off for the length. The 4 AWG I had on the batteries and to the inverter got too hot for my liking, so I went with 2AWG on the batteries and 1/0 to the inverter. I think it should be good now. This forum is such a great resource. Thanks again.
AWG! I got my cables and they are 1/0 and I had ordered 1 AWG. Is it okay to trim the cable strands until it fits in the inverter side? The battery end should be fine and it's got lugs anyway. I can't see this being a problem. BUT, I'm just asking of someone more knowledgeable than me.
Thanks
Thanks Gazoo, That's what I've got. Only the data cables in series connected. I moved both series cables to the outside terminals. The parallel connections will be in the middle. These are 100% from Battery Hook up. Glad I got 4 while they were still available.
Hey Gazoo! I'm putting 2 12RTs in series and parallel. So only "IYO" connect the data cables to series the 2 packs. and leave the others off? The middle cables are off. Now + to + and - to - and I'm 24v at 80ah. I'm proceeding with caution.
What about in series and parallel? To make a 24v 80ah pack using 4 batteries. I'm being probably overly cautious. Hook up communication cables before or after?
Ok, I've got the cables ordered and I'm pretty sure I've got the best configuration for the 2s 2p. I flipped one side of batteries around to make fitting the cables easier, I can see how having the tools and supplies on hand to make your own cables helps. But, I'm only building one... At this...
I apologize in advance if I'm missing something that's already been posted. I'm the director of the Georgia Climate Change Coalition and I need some help. I'm trying to build this for an environmental education project. I've been inspired by Will and some others to put together a portable solar...
Thanks Jim,
that's what I thought. But looking at some of the charts based on 24v and 2400w the cable is 2/0 and the fuse is 200 Breaker 175

I'm having the same questions about wiring the LV2424-msd. The difference in cable size is a lot 4 to 2/0. The online manual shows:
Recommended battery cables and size of terminal: Model Typical Amperage Battery Capacity Wire Size Torque Value PIP 2424LV-MSD 100A 100AH/200AH 1*4AWG 2~ 3 Nm
Help! I'm confused about what size cables I need to connect 4 valence rt-12 batteries to a pip LV2424-msd inverter. I see some using 4 awg. and the manual lists 1*4 But the charts seem to say 2/0. From the manual : PIP 2424LV-MSD 100A 100AH/200AH 1*4AWG Is this * implying 1-4 AWG
