Yeah, I've ordered a SMART version so I can at least see what it is doing and why. The common port version I'm getting supports a higher charge rate, so hopefully this should also help.
I'd hope the charging FETs didn't burn out with an in-specification charge current, but yeah. Maybe???
It wouldn't even charge at a low SOC, with cells around 3.2v when measured with my DMM, that why I suspected something was up.
