Just additional clarification: following that 500V and 1000V will work just fine for my 160Voc SCC, in my case, it is better to go for the 500V, right? I mean 'cause it's relatively closer to my SCC's max Voc. Similar logic with circuit breakers.

I found out just yesterday that the SRNE ML4860 solar charge controller that I have is the same as the Renogy Rover 60 (Manual).

Apologies, I forgot to get back to the people here. I did manage to solve my problem by using another SCC (PowMr 60A) that can take the voltage of my series string. I'll use my older SCC soon on panels with lower voltage. Anyways thanks again for the help. :)

Sure. I'll compile those. To answer your question though: The total Voc of the 5 panels are at 133.25V. The SCC can handle 150V max Voc. I have the same random restart problem even with just 4 panels (3 older ones, 1 new one; total Voc of 106.6V).

I see. I did wipe them earlier but just with my hands. The older ones have significantly less water on them. Also, wiping the newer ones with beads of rainwater was hard since they seem to be attracted to the panel.

The older and newer panels are 3 months apart. Might explore solutions to rainx. Not too concerned about that. What I'm concerned about though is if the rainwater beading up is causing enough shading that it's the reason for my solar charge controller to randomly restart. I'm still trying to...

I took these photos when the rain weakened. I noticed that first 3 panels (shown the images below with an almost mirror-like finish) I bought doesn't retain rainwater but the 2 new ones do. Any idea why this happens? They are same panels from one manufacturer from the same seller. Additional...
