Review of EVE LF280 cells from Docan Technology

That's about what I'm seeing too. I'm still discharging slower after the last top balance and initially I was seeing about a .006v difference but once it got under 3.4v per cell it's been around 0-0.001v difference. It's holding quite well!

Review of EVE LF280 cells from Docan Technology

Took quite a while, but I have some testing numbers. Cell 1: 284.54 Ah Cell 2: 284.79 Ah Cell 3: 283.13 Ah Cell 4: 283.70 Ah The cells were charged in series with a BMS up to 14.4v, then reconnected in parallel and absorbed at 3.6v. Each cell was discharged individually using a 20A tester down...

Was that $100 each including shipping? This included shipping costs, except for Paypal fee.

Review of EVE LF280 cells from Docan Technology

As a new person to LiFePO4 cells, I have been visiting this site for a while and learning what I can. I recently saw the forum post by @ghostwriter66 at https://diysolarforum.com/threads/our-new-go-to-lifepo4-vendor-09-20-21.28696. I decided to give them a try, and contacted @Jenny Wu to...

    Buying batteries from Aliexpress

I was looking at the 280Ah cells listed from the first link on https://www.mobile-solarpower.com/raw-lifepo4-deals-page.html for $445.18 with free shipping. Still quite a bit more expensive for US suppliers still it seems.

    Buying batteries from Aliexpress

So, I haven't ordered from Aliexpress before, but I was going to take a chance at the 4S LiFePO4 battery linked from mobile-solarpower.com. When I went to order, I noticed that it was asking for VAT, but I don't live in Europe, I live in the US. I proceeded to place an order anyway, but then...

Question about inverter for small air conditioner

Do you know what surge current it has for startup and which inverter is that? Thanks.

Question about inverter for small air conditioner

No PV or batteries yet. I was planning to run 4S 280aH battery first, to get familiar before proceeding. A 5000 BTU should be running around 450 watts after startup. The real question is whether an inverter connected to a 120A Overkill BMS can handle the startup current. I know inverters...

Question about inverter for small air conditioner

I'm considering running a small 5,000BTU window air conditioner off a 12V inverter connected to a set of batteries. Finding details about LRA without first buying a unit and checking the compressor is an issue. Can someone recommend a 12V inverter that can handle the start up surge and run...

    Question about new cell testing

Hi everyone! New here, but have been doing some research into this area for a little while now. I want to pick up a 12v set of LiFePO4 batteries to learn with. From what I have seen, it can be hit or miss with quality, so testing on delivery looks to be critical. My question is, what is the...
