Works great! Barely used in an off-grid set up to charge my plug-in hybrid car. System works so well I decided to upgrade to a 240VAC inverter to so I can use a Level 2 car charger. Unfortunately Giandel doesn't sell a 240VAC model in the U.S. market so I purchased a Sigineer inverter which...
I am very happy with my Giandel 24v to 120ac inverter but now need 240V output. Am considering the Sigineer Power 6000W 48V Pure Sine Wave Inverter. Does anyone have experience with this model or other 240VAC inverters? I would also welcome suggestions for alternative inverters.
I am looking at the following Sungold 24Vdc inverter to accomplish the same 240VAC split phase output. Does anyone have experience with this product? Manual is attached.
SUNGOLDPOWER 6000W 24 Vdc Inverter Charger,Peak 18000w,240 Vac Input, 120V/240V AC Output Split Phase,Low Frequency,Pure...
Well, the overvoltage problem with my Renogy charge controller damaged some of my LiFePO4 cells even with a BMS. I ended up getting my money back from Renogy. Replaced it with a Victron charge controller which has worked flawlessly for months now.
So I ordered the NoFuel transfer switch but immediately returned it for a refund. Though it claims to be able to handle 100A, the contact lugs will accommodate wires no larger than 10AWG.
I have had two of those JITA 12.8V 300ah batteries connected in series for several months now. So far working great! Using them to charge my plug-in hybrid car and provide back-up power for my house. Have a Victron charge controller and a 24V Giandel 4000/8000 inverter
Solar enthusiast, thanks for your informative comments and for the links to the videos. I think I will go ahead and order the NOFUEL ATS and try it out. I don't need frequent switching but am still a bit concerned about the backfeed issue. Is there any way to test the isolation?
Does anyone have experience with NOFUEL automatic transfer switches. Here is the one I am considering:

I have attached the manual.
I am running an off-grid solar setup with a 24V...
Can anyone suggest a good 100 amp ATS that is actually available? I settled on either a Cummins RA122N3 or Generac RXSC100A3 both seem to have lead times of 16 - 20 weeks.
Thanks, Tecnodave! I am glad to hear that it is possible to connect the load output of the inverter to BOTH L1 and L2 inputs on the transfer switch. The only 240v appliance we have is a dryer which we obviously wouldn't use during a power outage. Are you familiar with this Cummins 100A...
