    What is a cycle?

10 cycles per year should last you about 300 years. Haha..... 3000 cycles and they should still have 80% capacity after those 300 years. Yeah with that little use they're going to last a good bit.

    Connecting multiple balancers?

you're making something out of nothing in my opinion. Top balance cells and hook up Daly. I'm also running a dumb Daly 100a keeps my 280ah cells very well balanced. The dumb daly is really a great BMS in my opinion. It's no frills protects the batteries balances perfectly well if you do a...

Turning into a nightmare purchase--from Shenzhen Luyuan (Amy Wan) how to tell if they are LF280K or just LF280?

None of these Chinese companies are putting the proper hazmat labels on the packages. Hopefully this isn't a trend moving forward. If the Chinese company start putting that label just expect to be paying way more for these cells. Shipping prices will go through the roof if this is a new trend.

    It's the Wild West - RV's w/Chinese Prebuilts

I've only seen one person on here put cells under a vehicle on here. He mounted DIYs under his bus. He messed up his batteries and very well could have caught his bus on fire... I know space is limited in a camper but mountain batteries under the frame is very foolish.

Daly BMS - how does it start balancing

You have the dumb Daly? Because that's the one I have and I'm almost certain it starts balancing at a much lower voltage. I rarely see my cells over 3.5 and yet my pack is always perfectly balanced. If you haven't Top balanced your pack. Top balance then add your BMS. They Daly only...

Daly BMS - how does it start balancing

Yep top balance then hook up the BMS. The Daly can work perfect if you take the time to top balance. I've been utilizing one for several months with no issues. I did a proper top balance prior to hooking up the BMS. I'm running 8 280ah cells a 24v battery. I have a dumb BMS with no...

Sunfun kits 260 or SOK 206

Get the sunfun kit. I'm pretty sure they are using matched and batched cells. I've heard nothing but good things about them so far. Also you'll gain a good bit of knowledge about building a pack buying the kit. I'm pretty certain if for some reason there was a cell that wasn't performing up...

    Cool Boondocker class C RV

Thanks man your Obs is sweet too. I forgot to ask about the panels but his entire roof was covered. Being so small I bet his batteries never get below 50%. I was really surprised when he said he had 32 200ah cells.

    Cool Boondocker class C RV

I was passing through El Paso with my wife and our 3 pups and happened across an RV with solar covering the roof. We also have an RV but I haven't had the chance to put panels or a split unit on it yet. Seeing his Rig was an inspiration so I wanted to share with y'all. He said he had 20kwh of...

    Run mini split off solar

This video is a good starting point. You probably need at least 16 to 32 280 ah cell to make one or 2 48v batteries. Two all in one controller/inverters. You have to put the two together to get the 230v. Like Will you can buy a bunch of used panels from santan and ground mount them. I lived...

    Where to begin...

You can buy graphics card and build your own rig problem is prices are extremely high because of demand.

    Big Battery 24V inconsistencies

Seeing as how the reputation is not the best. They probably use bulk commodity cells. Many of us use bulk cells building our own packs. Bulk cells are perfectly fine for most. The problem with buying a finished battery is let's say one of the cells is bad. There's a post on here a guy...
