Is anyone running the 0605 release in parallel? I'm having an issue with the slave unit reporting twice its load. The Main unit is correctly reporting its load based on the current its drawing from the battery. On the slave unit, however, it is reporting twice its load. What this does is...
Well after 1Y and 163D, one of my MR8k blew up. I wasn't sure if I was going to post about it until I solved the issue. I have over 15MW thru these inverters. I'm not very hopeful that I'll receive support from my distributor (GSL) but I did contact them. I had two inverters in parallel...
There was a bug in one version of the firmware that even when set to parallel, they still only maxed at 8k. I'm running the very first parallel firmware version that has other bugs, but has been rock solid for over a year. One day I plan to upgrade to the latest version.
I am running DIY batteries with no comm to the inverter. I had to set my battery capacity to 1000Ah in order to maximize the charge current to the batteries. It seems the inverter was limiting power when I had it set to 280Ah. It might be worth a try to temporarily change battery settings to...
In the solarman interface, there is 'inverter' and 'logger' under the 'devices' tab. Click on logger tab, then your logger for the parameters. I don't know what the latest is, but 1.24 is when I noticed the expanded information.
I may have missed some posts above, I apologize. But have you verified you have the latest firmware on your wifi dongle? I posted earlier in this thread that there is more data available with the newer firmware, but I'm not sure if it would affect the accuracy of those numbers. I do know that...
Looks like I stopped getting notifications via the bell icon (I disabled emails), and missed a bunch of these MR posts. Thanks again to @fromport for keeping the firmware database.
As @fromport said, there is some calibration that can be done via modbus. The 2v thing really messed things up because I have solar strings into both inverters. Once that inverter 'thought' the target voltage was reached, it would stop producing power via solar. Once I sent an new calibration...
