    200amp Class T fuse

I bought the wrong size fuse for my 225a-400a fuse h older but I missed the return deadline. Will sell for $10 plus shipping (I'm in Canada right now but will be in the USA next month if you can wait and want to save a bit on shipping)

2x Different BMS in the Same Pack

No that would cause a severe imbalance in the pack. Just get a 48v to 12v DC to DC converter.

12v vs 24v battery bank servicing a 12v/120vac system - which is better?

What @Bud Martin said, however if you're replacing the inverter anyway I would definitly go 8S unless you have alot of 12v loads

Can someone let me know the exact distance in mm between the terminals on the 300 amp DCC contactor?

Ordered 8x272ah Lishen Cells from Amy at Shenzhen Luyuan

I'm in Canada, mine shipped on Jan 4th, 43 days ago, my UPS tracking number has no status yet.

    dc-dc CHARGING

Alot of people in here seem confused about how battery charging works. A battery charges when the applied voltage is higher than the resting voltage of the battery at its current state of charge. The higher that voltage the faster it charges. A Lifepo4 Cell at 100% SOCs resting voltage is...

Metric Way of Stating Battery Capacity

I assume my metric you mean SI units, metric is just a system of dividing units, you could use the metric system to divide imperial units with kilo-inches and micro-pounds. SI units are an international standard of units that use the metric system for division. The amp is an SI unit just like...

Terminal Fuse on Lishen M6 studs

Sticking out is not an issue in my situation as they will be in a case with a cover with no risk of coming into contact with a dropped tool or anything like that. When you say "MRBF fuses aren't good enough for LFP." Is there some technical issue with them you're refering too? The alternative...

12v vs 24v battery bank servicing a 12v/120vac system - which is better?

Assuming you already have a 12v inverter there's probably no advantage in building a 24v pack, the money you save in smaller wire will be more than lost in the cost of a DC to DC converter. You also don't need 2 BMS's in a 12V back and 8 cells. You just pair them up 2 by 2 with 4 parallel pairs...

Terminal Fuse on Lishen M6 studs

What's your experience with these terminal fuses been, why do they suck?

Terminal Fuse on Lishen M6 studs

I'm considering using a Terminal Cube Fuse on my Lishen Cells wich have 6mm threads however the the Terminal Fuse Block has a 10mm hole and it seems unwise to have so much wiggle room. I'm considering using a M10 to M6 reducer adapter like this...

Why you cannot charge LiFePO4 below 0 degrees Celsius

@Just John why so confrontational? I'm not making some wild claim about a battery from some fly by night Alibaba distributor. Winston was the first manufacturer of prismatic lithium cells and never read about anyone who's had a bad experience with Winston cells.

Why you cannot charge LiFePO4 below 0 degrees Celsius

I believe the only cells capable of below 0C charging are Winston LiFeYPO4 cells the yttrium gives them a wider range. But they are more expensive
