Looking for a 1000watt or less 48v inverter/charger everything find in that range is 12 or 24v, do people have any recomendations?

No that would cause a severe imbalance in the pack. Just get a 48v to 12v DC to DC converter.

What @Bud Martin said, however if you're replacing the inverter anyway I would definitly go 8S unless you have alot of 12v loads

Assuming you already have a 12v inverter there's probably no advantage in building a 24v pack, the money you save in smaller wire will be more than lost in the cost of a DC to DC converter. You also don't need 2 BMS's in a 12V back and 8 cells. You just pair them up 2 by 2 with 4 parallel pairs...

What's your experience with these terminal fuses been, why do they suck?

I'm considering using a Terminal Cube Fuse on my Lishen Cells wich have 6mm threads however the the Terminal Fuse Block has a 10mm hole and it seems unwise to have so much wiggle room. I'm considering using a M10 to M6 reducer adapter like this...

@Just John why so confrontational? I'm not making some wild claim about a battery from some fly by night Alibaba distributor. Winston was the first manufacturer of prismatic lithium cells and never read about anyone who's had a bad experience with Winston cells.

I believe the only cells capable of below 0C charging are Winston LiFeYPO4 cells the yttrium gives them a wider range. But they are more expensive
