    Skipping absorption

Well I played around with a lot of different settings but the controller would only stay in absorption mode for about a minute at most. The only way I have found to keep absorption mode on is to disable the tail current setting. These are brand new batteries and I have never had them charged...

    Skipping absorption

I'm using all new copper cables and have 4/0 awg from the batteries to the bus bars. The weak link is I have 8 awg from the controller to the bus bar right now. Should receive the 6 awg in a few days (just gets a little warm so far). Thanks again.

    Skipping absorption

Hi guys I just upgraded with a Victron 100/50 and two Chins 300Ah batteries. When charging with solar(600w) my unit goes from bulk mode to float mode without spending anytime in absorption mode?. I bet it's an easy fix but being new to Victron I really don't know why. Any help will be...

Accidental overcharge, what do I do now?

Get rid of those LiPo batteries and buy some good Deep Cycle batteries. Make life a little easier?

    MPPT cutoff voltage?

The display shows that power is still going to the batteries when the unit is turned off. I don't use AC power, solar only to charge and I use deep-cycle batteries so it's all good.

    Charging at 21 amps

Yes, 40+ volts into the controller and 13.5/14.5 output to the batteries. With my old set of batteries I was charging at 10amps, with my new ones I have it set at 20amps. Everything is working perfect now. Not planning on adding anything until I decide to go 24 volts? This solar stuff sure is fun...

Avoid This Seller ... Henny Liu's store

Those LiFePo prices are out of this world. Don't blame you for saving a buck. Just watched a uTube video of a guy living on his sailboat and he installed 6 LiFePo batteries. Testing them out, he brought them down to 11% and they were still at 12.7 volts I think it was(thats with a load still on...

    Charging at 21 amps

Heck I'm confused too. The 40v is what the panels are producing, not whats going to the batteries. My mistake #1. 6v batteries hooked up 2s2p at 12 volts. (4) 100w panels 2s2p at 40volts at noonish. You are right Supervstech it's okay to charge at 20amps. I was only concerned because the new...
