NotTesla

Heavily identify with with Sartre's "Hell is other people", both the literal and figurative interpretations.
Background
USAF SERE Instructor in my youth, then spent several decades as a high efficiency structure design/build contractor, and finally small business consultant just prior to retiring in my early 50's. Currently operating an organic farm/ranch where we raise everything from aeroponic micro-greens and sprouts to hydroponic and soil grown crops, mushrooms, free-range eggs & various birds, organic RAS fish species, pastured pork & small frame grass-fed beef cattle. Father of five adult children who have given us five wonderful grandchildren who I intend to spoil rotten with outdoor adventures and travel.
Current or Future Solar Power System
Converting a GMC C7500 furniture moving van w/ air suspension, lift gate & a 22' over-hung box into a large, all electric, perpetual off-grid, Class 'A' motor-home that I'll be living and traveling in year round. Power is to be supplied by (16) Panasonic 330 w. 48v. HIT panels, and storage is intended to be provided by (8) Tesla 85-Type Li-ion batteries. The cabin box is being superinsulated (R-40) & coated w/ a 98% long wave radiation reflecting paint. Air conditioning & refrigeration is all 48 volt, and all water is all pre-heated by (2) 20-tube solar vacuum tube water heaters. All water will be stored as hot-warmed water in insulated tanks, one of which contains a two-stage heating element arrangement. Heat is provided by circulating liquid radiant means, and water is to be harvested from the rig's roof-top and awning solar panel arrays. Once filtered and treated, it will all be stored as warm water in the super-insulated tanks until called for from the final stage water heater/tank. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right? lol
