Finally completed my 24v system!! ⚡ 🔋
Couldn't have finished it without the help of this forum: The resources, people and the abundant information that is available.
I think 99.9% of the time, the question is answered in the posts. However, the jokes, sarcasm and puns keep me reading. :)
Laughter cures a lot of things, even possibly being exposed to electro magnetic radiation.
We went electric when gas prices started to spike. Sounds like it will go up again. But now that many are going electric, the demand for electricity has gone up and hoping that the electricity prices don't go up with it.
However, what I like is not having to have an oil change every 3,000...
I went with https://batteryhookup.com/ they have local pickup available if you are in the area. I was scared of ordering from overseas, but I think it's ok.
Overkill Solar.
Battery fits! I just need to get some padding material for the sides. Using an old computer tower case to cover the front, back and top of the case. Pieces have been cut but will continue next weekend.
Check out the beginner's corner on this forum. There are lots of information that can be learned.
Buying pieces to build a battery was the route I took because I wanted to learn how to build one.
Getting an already built battery may save you some money.
Not sure if other inverters include a USB charging port but my WZRELB did not have one. I saw The Bucket Build and added this USB charger to my system.
Re-purposed a leftover framing bracket for the install. I now have a dedicated USB and USB Type C charging ports available when needed.

Repurposing this IKEA Knarrevik to be my battery case. Cut the legs to the length needed and drilled some new holes. Used the top from a broken Monster power center surge protector as the base plate. I just bent one end to fit. The width was just about right for what I needed. There will...
The setup/build on the video by @BradCagle with the 100Ah battery and 1200W inverter be enough to run a 5A circular saw?
I also have the EB3A and use my 100W solar panel to charge when the sun is out.
thanks.
I do not have experience with the EG4 but I have a small Bluetti EB3A and I drained it by accident. I left something plugged in it and I thought it was dead, it would not power on. The 100W solar I have would not charge it. When I plugged it into the wall socket, it turned on after a few...
I did build a 24v 105Ah system with two 100W solar panels. It can charge the car between 5v - 12v but not enough panels to keep it charging over 2 hours. I suppose if I add more panels, I can charge for a lot longer during the day when the sun is out.
I build the solar battery after seeing...
How about using an ergonomic mouse? They are supposed to be better for your hand since it places your hand in a more natural way. It may lessen that finger fatigue. 🖱️
This is a post by @ericstahl . Good starting point if you want to build one and scale to your needs. 🤙🤙

Is the break handle style the one that clicked? That's the one I used, I think it was a Craftsman. I haven't had to use one lately but I always remember from our auto shop teacher to hand tighten the nut plus a 1/4 turn. 😆
Yes, it looks like the glass fuse is blown. The continuity test failed and I am unable to tell if the filament inside is cut near one of the ends. I will have to use my CEN-TECH that I got for free at Harbor Freight. :)
Tariffs and taxes are never good for the consumers. I remember when amazon never charged tax, I'd purchase my items there. Now, I have to add the taxes and shipping to the cost. It adds up.
The light bulb one was one of our projects in auto shop. Had to drill the plastic handle of a screw driver to the metal part to fit a fuse like bulb. Then just put a wire and spring to complete. Oh, make the screw driver end pointy.
I am now in the planning stages of adding USB outlets like this to my 24V battery. Do I connect them to the -negative bus bar and +positive bus bar? If I get a fuse block first, does the fuse block connect to the -negative bus bar and +positive bus bar?
thanks
Ahh, ok. I will not be doing this again! :)
Should I replace the circuit breaker?
I will open it up and see if the fuse has blown.
Next purchase will be a clamp on Meter. I have one on the wish list on amazon.
thanks again.
Yes, turned on Location on phone. Left the app to search devices but it could not find/detect it. Oh, and I made sure that bluetooth was turned on my phone as well. 😁
